I’d love to see it head to head against the 6000 I love the look of the axiom but think like most people in the market for a new detecter or replacement are holding off to see the head to heads or comparisons . Looks awesome tho been waiting for a new Garrett
So I picked my axiom up on Saturday I have not been able to find out if it is waterproof Or if it's water resistant can someone please answer this for me
One question, I know it has the frequency scan to pick a clear channel, can you manually adjust this? Often in group hunt settings you need to change the channel frequently as others wander through your hunt area. Waiting 45 seconds everytime would get old. If this isnt already possibe, PLEASE add this feature! In a group hunt setting it is used often.

Hello, Stephen! The short answer is no, unfortunately you cannot manually adjust the frequency/tuning other than using the frequency scan feature. In any event that you need to do a quick scan, all it takes is 45 seconds. And just like any other sensitive PI machines, it will be difficult to use them in close proximity of other PI units.
