Indica was in Pasadena in 1982. Humbolt was the strongest strain in the early 80s. The hippies of Humbolt invented skunk. They started growing in 1968. The Stoners sold lemon bud as well. Accurate drug information does not come from street level dealers. If the O.G. didn't know about Indica in 1982, he didn't know the right people. High Times listed all of the popular strains. Lakeside sang about "bo" which was Columbian. Red hair was called sinsemilia. Bo was popular in 1979-1980. Cocaine was sold as freebase in 1982. L.A.s socially engineered background: PCP was brought to LA in 1966. It was first sold as LSD, then laced with powder cocaine in 1973. It was also sold as a powder under the pseudonym THC. It was called Angel Dust on the streets, or chemically treated weed i.e.Super Weed (cf. Super Kools) It became sherm circa 1977 when the crystals were dissolved in ether and Sherman cigarettes were dipped. The White Shadow addressed PCP in LA when it was still being called Crystal. Read about the Watts Acid Test when the Grateful Dead - Black Panther alliance turned Compton out on psychedelics. The murder rate was planned after the assassination of Malcolm X in 1965. The plot to destroy Compton was carried out by PLA agents who played on the intelligence of the Black community as their revolutionary guard. Be sure that Malcolm X was not a drug dealer, an alcoholic, nor an Atheist. As planned, the youth became disillusioned at the double standards of the defeated revolutionaries. As planned, heroin helped them forget their pain. To this day, PCP is offered in the ghetto as treatment for undiagnosed depression and PSTD. All of this foolishness grown out of self hate, ignorance, and negligence towards the Most High.
