A short and moving film / music video about drug overdose. Going Over was first produced for an overdose campaign in 2002, and has been re-released with it's 'sequel' recovery which was filmed in 2008 to complement Going Over with clear instruction on how to put someone in the recovery position.

This is obviously not an American video (the accents, the emergency phone number) In America, the reason most people don't want to call emergency services is because they will be arrested! For trying to save their friend! I personally know 2 people it has happened to. I was so glad to hear that the Harm Reduction Centers, Syringe Exchanges, whatever it is called where you're at, are having places now where people can go and shoot up safely. These places are life savers in many ways. 💜🙏

Everyone talks about this crisis, what about hey idiot don’t just sit there waiting for an ambulance they need oxygen , cpr at least give them some breaths of air check for a pulse. It seems crazy to me these things aren’t included. It takes roughly 3 minutes until brain damage with no 02
