I leave for trips several times a year without my husband, he just does not like to travel. I go to Thailand for 3 weeks, Hawaii, Mexico with my sisters. My favorite way to travel is alone. No one tells me when to wake up, when to eat and what to do. It's worked for 40 years so far!

I'm hearing you. I travel alone all the time and my wife travels with her friends. I like to get out and about and explore whilst my wife and her friends prefer to just sit around the pool all day. We don't make good travelling companions unfortunately.

Time away on your own is so important. Being able to completely unwind is so beneficial both physically and mentally. Great video Chuck, looking forward to the next one. I love it when you go on trips either on your own or with Paige. The videos give me ideas of places to visit and hotels to stay at. Keep up the great content mate!

Hey Chuck, That's where I had to go to get my DNA test done. The government hospital was an eye opener for sure. So many people are everywhere trying to see a doctor. I didn't get to see the town, so I'm glad you are there to show us the town.

Sometimes staying in the village i have to get away by myself sometimes just find a little town a hotel with a nice pool, i do feel a bit lost by myself but its good to be on your own for a bit, anyway good morning.

Hey Chuck, is it overkill having two Thai bank accounts, one for the required 930,000 Baht and the other for day-to-day living? I've heard you say that you use your american credit card for daily use. Also, is it helpful to have a Thai debit or Thai visa card...Your input is appreciated. 🙏

I've never heard of that kind of requirement for immigration. The only one I know of is 800,000 Thai baht. I have one account that has a little more than that and one for spending. As long as you don't let the account dip below 800 you can use only one if you like. It's just easier for me and immigration to not hand them 20 stacks of paper for my bank statement because I use one account for everything. Every time you get a bank account it comes automatically with a debit card. So I have two but only use one. I also have a Thai credit card. It is actually in my name but my wife added me to it. I'm not sure about foreigners on their own getting a credit card. I feel like it's probably not necessary anyway cuz we only use it sometimes.
