What started out as a simple "look at this cool prop I bought" video segment turned into something completely different, a total nightmare. Couple things about this video (SPOILER ALERT)
This video was shot in order of the events as they happened. So yes I was quite angry. Believe it or not I edited out much harsher things I said. This is the tame version if there is one.
I have nothing against The Prop Store of London & Los Angeles. In the end they made things right. However I never received any apology from their Director of Operations which is disappointing. After what I told their C.O.O. in great detail I am shocked I didn't receive an e-mail or phone call from the guy apologizing. It honestly solidifies my opinion of the man. I've had more polite customer service at a White Castle drive-thru window at 3:00 am than I did with this one individual.

Came across this video and was very happy to do so today. From 14:16 to 21:05, that truth made my day, so thank you! Also my wife and I just found your channel and are loving it. The day after we found it we were jamming some Ice Nine Kills and took a double take, low and behold there is Sean questioning Bill Moseley in Welcome to Horrorwood. It was destiny!

It's a really impressive piece of art, I remember seeing it at Image Animation the FX company that made it, this pillar was in the workshop when I had an interview with the company and was shown around the workshop. You did amazing to get it in your house in one piece the foam is very brittle as it ages, would have looked even better on a slow rotating base but your efforts were already monumental. Congrats on surviving your journey through hell "but we have such sights to show you," lol

Great video! Such a cool piece. Kudos to how you handled everything. Around 21:00 I could pause and just drool over your KISS shelf. The Australian pillow looks beautiful in that light. (Sorry to derail from the topic). It's crazy that big money companies don't give a crap about the 'Customer Experience" anymore. Most corporations have CX War Rooms where this stuff is over analyzed, yet, once guy can screw it all up. Regardless, great piece. Looked freaking SWEET finally put into place! Great video. Sorry about your negative experience dude, i agree with you about courtesy and politeness. Everyone has bad days, and maybe now more than ever. But it's never ok to take it out on other people that don't deserve it. Just glad it all worked out for you. That thing looks beautiful, never would've guessed it was made of foam. Great job Sean! Your rant was totally legitimate, as you explained, the guy on the phone gave you incorrect information that cost you a lot of time, money and effort, not to mention stress!!! I have no doubt that you are a very fair and reasonable person but as you said it's the principle that matters not money. As you rightly said Donald is either having a bad day or a bad life but he shouldn't take his frustrations out on the customer. I'm glad it was all resolved and you are now the proud owner of something I that will give you great pride and satisfaction in owning even though it cost you ????? I TOTALLY feel ur pain Sean, I did appliance delivery and installation for over 5 years and had to dolly many GINORMIOUS fridges and laundry centers into peoples houses and sometimes up flights of stairs...sometimes with a dolly, sometimes with straps carrying them up. I can only imagine how much that Pillar weighs :O But yeah it's an absolutely gorgeous piece of art and one of the crown jewels of horror movies. I bought a Halloween blue ratings poster from propstore which was from the Brian Fuller collection.. the fees and taxes were non stop then because it was from USA to UK another fee on top... but damn they have some cool stuff..
