Here I show you the massive capabilities of Loopy Pro with this epic template. For the sampled instruments I used Logic Pro to auto sample some vst plugins, I then sent them to AudioLayer on the iPad Pro and installed them.

Midi looping is on the roadmap man, yeah this would be game changing for sure, Micheal Tyson the developer is more than capable of adding all of this in the future so i definitely recommend getting the subscription and coming on the journey with us all. Enjoy the unlimited capabilities of loopy!

Wow incredible template! Random Loopy pro question for you. I have this vision of using the Djay pro app where you can isolate drums/vocals where I would created a bed of music. Then jump over to loopy pro to record vocal/guitar loops with a template like you built (way simpler tho😂) The problem is with ableton link on in both apps, Loopy pro will never follow the bpm of the songs in djay pro. It just flips to whatever tempo Loopy is set at. Any ideas?
Use the Moises app to separate the stems instead of Djay. There you can even change the tempo and see what the chords are. I love Djay but Moises is better for what you’re trying to do.
Crazy! how does the latency of the voice effects feel? Is it tight enough for beatboxing? I always get a tiny bit too much latency for my taste/musical feeling when i add effects like pitch shifter etc... that was the reason i bought a Roland VT-4 to have those FX latency free.
its pretty tight man, im using a evo8 audio interface set at 48khz 32 buffer and 24 bit. Works great without latency and im a snob when it comes to latency. The only latency I notice is with octave pedal effects but doesn't really bother me too much.
@@theinfinate but here you're pressing the button just on the iPad. i can get the stutter onto the clip now when recording, but why can't i hear it live when it's happening? some kind of monitoring issue i'm missing?
@@kittensinkmusic the laundpad mk3 ‘tis auto mapped which means you plug it in and straight away you can see loops and colour of loops. Just like ableton. When you midi map a button, the relevant colour and on and off value is seen on launchpad
@@theinfinate hmm. guess i gotta get one then. i was hoping maybe the Push 2 in User mode would work. (Really trying to minimize how much hardware i have to lug around.) are there any other stellar controllers you know of that work this well with Loopy Pro?
@@kittensinkmusic try the push, it will work as buttons but the auto mapping is essential imo. The apc40 mkii (I think that’s the one, the newest one anyway) is friken awesome!
Great video, quick unrelated Loopy Pro question if you don’t mind. How do you share the live screenshot of LoopyPro as a Picture in Picture. I’ve tried a few tools like cinamaker but to do any form of screen sharing they need a Mac and I only have an iPad Pro. Are you having to use a Mac?
I use fcpx on a mac but you could do this with many video editing apps in iPad, I know davinci resolve can, LumaFusion, even VN (free)does it. Just Do a screen recording on iPad (natively on screen from swiping top right) and place it on top of your other video. Easy as buttering toast 😉
This probably needs another video to explain this. It involves using Logic Pro to multisample the instrument and save it as a file type that that can be opened within an iPad app called Audiolayer. I don’t actually use this anymore as it seemed to have a weird bug that kept on deeming it unusable. I contacted the app developer but there was no remedy so I just use BeatHawk these days, many quality sounds on there. Not as good as the kontakt instruments I had multisampled but I ran into too many problems with audiolayer. It was a roadblock for me so I got rid of that workflow
But how u make when you playing another instrument from launchpad it s not playing the sametime with previous instrument? because it s one channel . Do you know solution?
@@theinfinate I think they are wondering how you are using the LPPMK3 to play all the different instrument sounds, same controller, different sounds, I also would like some clarification
@Tom Foolery I saved heaps of presets within I think in this video the app "beathawk" Then setup a page in loopy with heaps of buttons that opened the different presets. I hold down device on LPP where I have assigned to open the preset page, I click on the preset then let go of the device button as I have assigned page A on release of said button. That's how I change instruments
@@theinfinate interesting. I’m assuming you are creating a custom layout on the LPP with components? Or does Loopy do that as you add widgets and such, automatically onto the custom layer for you?
