It's been scarce here too...Walmart, Target...same Ole....and when they do finally stock up, the scalpers are there at open to buy up all the goods....tuff huntin in this neck of the woods
It’s always amazing someone wants to buy a hot wheel or two and they say it’s a little overpriced, after 15 trips to Walmart to find a couple good cars , 4.00 bucks is cheap!!!!
Theres a place below you in Chattanooga that has a guy with a bunch of different diecast and other toys, a 1$ nascar bin, a dump bin like in the store, then pegged diecast for 2-3$ a pop, really nice place, i visit once a month or so
Allright, love those older models. That Midnight Magic is originally Tanzara, and based on real concept car. Can't wait that Matchbox race 👍 I guess I'll do Corgi then lol
I do too. I had orange track there to see whether it actually fits or not, so that was cool. You know how wide some of them can be. And I could roll test them as well, which is always a bonus.
@@ScaleRacingChannel indeed, I got this DeTomaso Pantera when I had orange track and of course it was too wide so in cabinet in went. But now I have a chance to test it out.
Wish we could get those storage containers down here (3.39s) They look perfect for storing cars. Thats a massive market and I'd hate to think how much one would spend there building their collection 🤣 Awesome video so thank you for going out of your way to share with us all mate
Plano 5324 containers are very good for 1/64 diecast. You can either store them flat, or hang on the wall. It comes with key holes on the back for wall mounting.
@@ScaleRacingChannel yeah my Wal-Mart has just old case's and it's making me crazy I'm after the X Jet and Red Nissan R390 Gt1 and the Lb Lamborghini i think
I go down to the smokeys twice every year and always stop at that flea market. the fella inside with all the hot wheels, none are priced, ive never bought anything there. he had some monster trucks hanging he said they were 6 bucks each. so i picked one up and was gonna buy it, he looked at it and said "no that ones 8" i said ok thats fine, the he goes "no i meant 10 for that" i thought he ws joking but he wasnt. had to just laugh and walk away
He was pretty straightforward with MOST of the cars he had. One of the loose cases he had closest to his chair was full of cars $8-10 each. Saw a nice rolling old school Johnny Lightning Monster in there and set it aside.. he informed me a few minutes later that it was $40…. So, I know what you mean!
The table you thought was full of rubbish around the 2:45 mark had a ton of cars that I would kill for. And then you picked six hideous cars out of the wastebasket and wanted to spend American dollars to obtain them. I don't think I want to live in Bizarre-O World anymore.
Yeah, it’s hard to judge sometimes. It feels like I’m going slow enough, cause I can scan without camera way faster. But looking back, it was still a little fast. I will do better next time. Thanks for watching!
Like the video but I can't stand when people make this videos and fill it with music and try to talk over it just don't make much sense to me but I enjoyed the video
I understand, totally. Most of these guys have radios playing in the background…. If YT hears the songs playing, we get copyright strikes. Hence the reason for the fill music.
@@ScaleRacingChannel hint don't need any at all the video will get just as many viewers with out that music blasting in the back ground. Can't watch them while I'm my girlfriend is asleep cause the music but other than that it's great man thanks for taking the time to video it I'm just given my feed back on it I'm not trying to be a di..k sorry if I come across that why
Great video, but please leave out the annoying music. Or make it lower than your voice so we can hear what you’re saying. I want to hear what you’re saying but the high hat and music make it hard to watch.
Noted! Please understand that many of the places I visit have music playing in the background. So rather than mute the sound completely (to avoid copyright strikes), I play music in the vid to confuse the “machine” and not get struck. But I totally understand what you are saying.
Well, prices are going up…. Every now and then you can luck up on some bucky cars from the non-diecast store type sellers at the flea markets, but you gotta get there early. Many of the diecast specific sellers there will cherry pick the smaller sellers and turn around and put $5-10 price tags on the cars they get cheap.
