Can I just tell you Bonnie and Joel how much I've ENJOYED watching your trip to NYC together! I got so excited that you showed the shipping docks! My dad is a longshoreman, and they work so hard. He has worked 120 hours in a week before (he slept on his desk or in his car between ships). Some friends and I are doing a few days in NYC the week before Christmas. Your footage has me pumped!

I just want to say hello to you, B & J, and to my favorite city New York. It's so fun to watch your vlogs and it's bringing so many memories. I'm from Bulgaria, but in 2009 spent 5 Amazing days in NY, after my J1 summer in Massachusets. I miss it so bad and I have been everywhere you recorded the videos. Go to Brooklin bridge early morning and watch the sunrise reflecting on the buildings. It's so beautiful. Thank you, Bonnie, for giving me these moments of your adventure!

Those puppies do look like Yorkie-Poos (Yorkie/Poodle mix). I have one and he looks very similar. Have really loved watching these NYC trip videos! Looks like so much fun!
Bonnie, love the New York videos. I've been to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis island and the trade towers but have never seen the other stuff you've been sharing. Such a fun way to see it. Glad you and Joel are enjoying this time together.
Native NY'er here. I used to work downtown as a legal secretary at 2 Broadway, right across the street from Battery park and I looked out over the Statue of Liberty daily. What a view. I was also there for the 100 year celebration. We sat on FDR drive and watched the fireworks. Next trip, make it out to Long Island, so much to see and do here. I'm a travel agent. lol I love how the streets of NYC go from puppies in one window display to bongs in the next. I also love how despite being Mormon, you still kept that clip in because I found it hilarious! (especially being from the East coast!)
I'm from England and I went on holiday to America 2 years ago- visited New York for a couple of days and went to the Statue of Liberty/ Ellis island and Times Square and stuff- these vlogs are making me so nostalgic for the best holiday, hope you're having an amazing time! 💕

The scenic shots under the statue of liberty with the ocean is quite similar to sydney harbour! You guys definetely need to come to Sydney Australia one day! I would literally die! 😍😍😍

So glad you are having a good time, I used to go to the art and science museums and the planetarium back in the Stone Age , and shopping too.., and Broadway musicals. Only to visit though, I liked living close to forests and nature.
I saw the "real" statue of liberty in France in May when I was there :) Dying laughing at the lady eavesdropping into your convo at Tiffany's and the face she had on.
Love seeing you both enjoy NYC! It really is such a fun city, albeit expensive but still FUN! The beauty and energy is such an experience!!! Have a safe journey home to Utah!
I live less that 2 hrs from NYC and the last time I was there was for my 8th grade class trip. Watching these vlogs makes me want to visit even more. Love seeing the both of you spending time together.

Yesterday was the coldest it's been. It was 30 to 49 that's how cold it was! I live in NJ but I was in NY with my father for business and it was mighty cold! Love the Video!

Hi Bonnie, Looks like you're having a great time! I'm impressed with all of the different spots and neighborhoods you and Joel have visited! Living here I can tell how far you've actually gone from one scene to the next! When you mentioned in the other vlog how expensive it is here - yes that's true! But we always take the subway. I'm glad you guys experienced it even though it can be interesting to say the least! :)

I grew up on long island, about a 30 minute drive away from time square. It's so silly to me to see people so amazed by something I find so normal. It's weird but this vlog kinda humbled me.
I've been to NYC in December 2011. We wanted to go christmas shopping and were excited to see christmas lights everywhere and Santas and what not.. nothing really. except for Macys.. also, i never experienced a city so incredibly windy. it was ok, but i don't think i'm going to fly there again. thank you for taking us with you. its lovely to see more of you two as a couple. enjoy it

Too Blessed To Be Stressed Our parliament buildings here in Ottawa all have copper roofs/towers and they are all oxidized. Every now and then they refinish them and while they are beautiful and rich looking copper they always kind of look strange until they re oxidize. Lol
Fun fact, the Green patina is a natural free protectection layer for the metal underneath. With out which the metal would weather, corrode and the structure will fall apart. Which is why you find it used for roofing.
