Great interpretation of this song by Joe himself... Song MeaningThis song is about how you can compress the mind and shape like a axe to just cut through everything and do what you have to, or want to. You have to see it visualized, it's not like shaping your brain like a real axe, it's just a metaphor. "All boundaries are illusion When you reach the center light And reinforce the striking power" There's no limits when you reach the center light (brain) and reinforce the striking power (reinforce all the minds different forces). That's what I mean with compress the mind, unite all our senses.

Just seen them in Orlando this week and I have been going to show for over 3 decades. I don't think I've seen a better light show and POWERFUL performance from any band quite like them. It was absolutely ASTOUNDING!! 🤘

I love Gojira so much. I've seen them twice - once on the tour this video is from (L'Enfant Sauvage), and once at Red Rocks on their Magma tour (with Opeth and Devin Townsend Project). The best way I can describe Gojira live is that they treat each and every performance like it's an important religious experience. They never get on stage just to complete another stop on their tour. EVERY performance is important and cherished. I respect them so much for that reason. Few bands can consistently lay it all down like Gojira does. Much respect.

You still haven't done World To Come live 2010... it's one of their best songs, seriously. It's a bit different from their usual MO but it's just so damn good, I don't want spoil it to DO IT, you won't regret it! I've been enjoying your reactions and have been obsessing over Gojira this last month. I can't believe I didn't come across this band sooner, especially since they have been around since 96. Check out Only Pain next, the live version at Red Rocks is awesome.

if you want to experience some more great french metal, carcariass has two great albums, Killing Process and E-xtinction. Not a fan of their later stuff. Check out Winds of Death and Watery Grave. Not the best band for reacts, but you'll appreciate it, maybe!
