Yeah. Throughout almost the entire fight Sukuna was inching closer to losing. He couldn't beat Gojo in hand to hand skill, he couldn't match his battle IQ, he couldn't get through infinity, he had no chance of winning.. But thats where Mahoraga, Nue, and Agito came in. He used Nue and Agito to give him just enough time to copy and use Mahoraga's world cutting slash. Without Megumi's shikigami, Sukuna would have lost. Sukuna won in terms of BIQ. He got outplayed several times, but so did Gojo, arguably worse. Gojo was caught in Sukuna's domain several times and had no means of escape. The one and only time Infinite Void landed it was immediately countered. Sukuna refused to use mahoraga until it was fully adapted to both red and partially adapted to blue. He knew gojo would one shot it otherwise. Also, he didn't use furnace because he knew it would be useless and wouldn't work anyway. Only his world cutting slash can get through infinity, but only because it slashes through reality itself. Sukuna already admitted he can't alter his CE to shut down infinity like mahoraga initially did, so even if he managed to shoot off the arrow it still wouldn't get through infinity. Its not that sukuna was holding back or didn't go all out, its that even if he did it wouldn't matter, and he would end up burning through more CE than necessary. "But why didn't he use his 4 arm form??" Because sukuna more than likely knew he would get jumped immediately after Gojo died, incarnating his true form instantly undid all of the damage that Gojo had done because Kashimo actually could've finished him off otherwise.

The only thing that didn't stop the fight was because Megumi took the damage. The reason he didn't bring out his 4 arm form was caution. When Gojo inevitably landed his purple at the end Sukuna took loads of damage. The risk of losing his 4 arms was too big. Not because he'd get jumped. Sukuna's entire plan was to defeat Gojo he wasn't worried about the others.

It is true that Sukuna could not use his divine flames but Gojo was not entirely wrong either. Sukuna did not use everything he had. He did not use his Hein era form the activation of it would have healed all his injuries and he also did not use black flash. Yes Black flash does have a luck factor to it but it is also based on mindset. As soon as Sukuna entered the mindset that he needs to beat Maki to prove sorcery is superior to the physical body he was able to use black flash. While fighting Gojo Sukuna had the mindset of using Mahoraga to defeat Gojo instead of beating Gojo himself thus he was not able to use the black sparks. Yes a black flash or his heir era form would not bypass infinity on their own but it would have given him a massive boost to his technique and physical abilities and would have given Sukuna more time to adapt to Gojos power. Thus Gojos statement of Sukuna not using everything he had is partially true.
Sukuna didn't have the mindset of using Mahoraga to beat gojo. He's plan was to kill gojo using a model that Mahoraga have hence he's planning on killing gojo himself. The heian sukuna might give him a lot of trouble though. 4 arms and 2 mouths is a pain to deal with but without a domain gojo would still beat heian sukuna without the world cut since sukuna didn't really have any other counter to gojo aside from the domain amp. Gojo would still spam red and blue plus he's on a black flash amp, it might only be a matter of time before he could regain his domain like sukuna did.

People saying sukuna wasnt even trying or was holding back are delusional. Sukuna had mahoraga and agito jumping gojo AND gojo had to be careful when using his technique because mahoraga could adapt and gojo would have no way to damage them. Gojo used a 200% purple and had sukuna on death’s door. The ONLY reason sukuna survived was 1. For the plot of the story 2. Mahoraga adapted to infinity, allowing the world cutting slash to damage gojo.
Sukuna is a natural Mahoraga at this point. In the attempt to adapt to Gojo's mathematics, he realized that a few calculator bows can't do much and brought along the Divine General to help him do the math. Needless to say, Sukuna found that division is the formula for his problem.
Sukuna would beat Gojo even without Mahoraga casp being in Itadori Yuji's body, especially if he had 19 fingers, 20 would already be an appeal against Gojo.

I think holding back is not the right choice of words. Gojo was too strong and skilled to challenge to a brawl. Everything Sukuna had to do was calculated. He was still in control of the fight but he was using everything he had to position the fight. To force Gojo to reveal how exactly his technique worked so he could engineer a counter. Or to put it another way Gojo had never faced someone at his level before and it left him unprepared for how to win such a fight. Sukuna is terribly experienced and knew what he needed on hand to win the fight. Even so a slight lapse in judgement still could have had Gojo win.

The thing is this explanation make sense only for the second to last domain clash Because it only in the second to last domain clash that Sukuna begun to change the condition of his domain like turning his sure hit effect by example or reducing the range of his domain. But during the first domain clash, Sukuna never changed anything, when he use his domain he need at best 99 second in order to use furnace , so in the first domain if he wanted he could have use it. Granted it wouldn't have killed Gojo but Gojo would have been heavily damaged maybe beyond repair.
