Megumis body doesnt amp sukuna curse energy in the same way as yuji didnt amp sukyna physical stats.megumi only gives sukuna versatality via the ten shadows plus ancient sukuna had four arms plus op curse tool.

Great review, I also side with Gojo mostly because Gege has been giving hints and highlighting that it just can't go otherwise. It wouldn't make much sense to a character like Gojo to just lose/die, yes! his students would probably clutch it somehow but still that would just be way too typical and it would follow the normality of the animes that we are used to see. Gojo has been portaited all along so far to be HIM, The ONE, The Strongest, it is not our story, it is Gege's story.. lets just enjoy it!

Your title says "it was never close", but Gojo/Gege literally said it would be lol. Gojo believing he would come out on top in a close fight. Gojo gets help from his allies to surprise attack Sukuna with a 200% hollow purple & Sukuna survives it. Sukuna without even using the 10 shadows or anyone's aid, already delivered the first lethal blow in their fight. This fight is very close, even there domains were evenly matched in strength, aside from Sukuna's being able to destroy Gojo's from the outside. Gojo might get the upper hand on Sukuna, but I sincerely doubt he can beat both Sukana & Mahoraga.

I think the reason Sukuna has been evil and unrepentant all this time is due to him being disgusted by how weak everyone else is compared to him. With Satoru, he might just begin to see things differently.

Purely from a narrative standpoint, it doesn't make sense to think that Gojo out classes Sukuna. 1. Yuji and Sukuna needs closure 2. Yujis speculated power related to souls 3. Strongest sorcerer of all time who conquers Ten Shadows SHOULD be stronger than a six eye user. Historically, a 10 shadows user, vs a six eye, summoned Mahoraga, a never tamed summoning and presumably made that fight a draw.

We were already told what the strongest curse technique in all of Jujutsu is, it's the six eyes. I do not believe there is anyway to out polish the DE of a six eyes user. PREACH! the way you mentioned polish is exactly my thoughts, just because someone has a DE without a shell I do not believe that it will automatically out polish an otherwise perfect DE and I believe that Gojo can not only sustain his DE longer but I believe that a DE can be developed or trained into existing without an outer shell, and I think Gojo has a form of his DE that has no outer shell to increase the effect range while still retaining perfect polish. I don't think either is going to win this fight as the giant new curse beast is going to show up as the merger will be completed which I think is going to stop the fight. Great explanation!

Gojo is out haxed, also Sukuna and Gojo are stated to be the strongest. But also the purple ability Gojo at 200% only took off half or less of Sukuna's right arm. He then instantly heals from it. Realistically, Sukuna wins. If Gojo does his domain expansion, first he is admitting defeat to Sukuna.

I've always found Kenjaku's statement in the diner VERY interesting. He states they need to make Gojo unable to fight and have Sukuna join their side in order to win the war, but both conditions have ti be met. Meaning even if Sukuna joined their side, but Gojo was still able to fight then they would still lose the war.

Narratively it makes no sense for Gojo to lose against Sukuna. Sukuna isn't the main villain (Kenjaku is), they make a point of saying there's back up if Gojo loses (obvious red herring), and they specify that Sukuna's last finger *was* (keyword) in the possession of Gojo, which was why Sukuna had to supplement with his old body to reach full power. Then there's the fact that Gege threw a ton of buffs on Sukuna and nerfs on Gojo to make it exciting and up in the air. Power scaling, we don't have much to go on. From a narrative standpoint, it is painfully obvious Gojo is going to do an upset just for Kenjaku to pull an Aizen and fuck over everybody. There's just way too many blatant red flags getting waved to get people to think they're clever and expect Gojo to lose. I'll see you in a couple months to lol at being right

To say Gojo is stronger is stupid because Sukuna is the main villain. Why would the sensei of the show be strongest in the show? It doesn’t make sense. Gojo is inferior to Sukuna for main reason of him being a side character and not the main character. Also the creator can say all he wants but that is all to hype Gojo up so he can kill him and why would the creator inform his readers what the outcome of the battle beatween Sukuna vs Gojo would be by saying Gojo is is stronger? Again it doesn’t make sense unless he is setting Sukuna to beat Gojo and show us he is stronger. Sukuna is considered to the Strongest sorcerer in history but Gojo is only the Strongest in the current era. It's obvious that 10 shadows plus 20-finger Sukuna and a gift from Yorozu, as well as his plot/narrative advantage, are too much for Gojo. This fight is predictable. Sukuna must face Yuji, the MC, and defeat him; their fates are intertwined. As a result of the plot/narrative, Gojo must lose to Sukuna. Megumi will play a role in Sukuna being killed also because I don’t believe Megumi will just sit tight and watch his sensei get killed.

I believe sukuna cleave will be the game changer in this gojo battle. It's stated that cleave specifically adapts according to target curse technique. So i think he might be able to use cleave against gojo.

This power scaling is completely wrong why? When Gege stated Gojo being the pinnacle of the verse, that's referring to jujutsu society which he is as he's the strongest sorcerer of the current day. Two, using Yuji's statement to powerscale Sukuna with 15 fingers being in the same level as Yuta makes no sense, when the same 15 finger sukuna one shotted Ryu who gave Yuta a great fight. Secondly, 200% purple which was stated by Gojo that he didn't hold back on it proved to be nothing to sukuna AS HE TANKED it AND only lost a hand. In the process he instantly healed it with no struggle. Idk if you know this but being in Megumi's body PROVES that he'd only have more abilities not necessarily get stronger, we seen majority of the ten shadows incapable of handling Yorozu until Mahoraga came in. Sukuna ALSO implied that at the end of the fight that his technique is stronger than Ten Shadows.

Seeing that Mahoraga has killed/battled a 6eyes user in the past wouldn't that give him some adaptability to red, blue, purple and or limitless already 🤨🤨🤔🤔

Call me crazy but what if Sukuna never wanted megumi for the 10 shadows. Hear me out, Megumi can also use his technique to store cursed tools so what if Sukuna has some of his own that were either given to him by Kenjaku or someone else. We’ve already seen Gojo get sealed so it wouldn’t be crazy to think that a cursed tool(s) of some sort could come into play on the villains side. It would also be a way to introduce characters like Maki & Yuta into this fight. Yuta can also store cursed tools/objects using Rika & Maki has a personal cursed tool of her own and is a master hand to hand combatant with & without a tool. Maki’s already fought Sukuna briefly & if Kenjaku shows up Yuta will already be on the scene.

crazy what if's Say Gojo's plan of defeating Sukuna failed. which leads Sukuna to take over Gojo's body. then Gojo's plan will be focused on how to limit or not let Sukuna give his full potential when fighting with possible new opponents (Yuji and others). might really defeat Sukuna if Gojo and others teamed up. also proves that one of Gojo's plans is to remove Sukuna from Megumi's body and instead replace by him, who will be willingly killed by his own students (the saddest and most emotional moment of all). Both powerful gojo and sukuna might die in the end. ?? If Sukuna gets killed by Gojo, what will be the role of Yuji and others? If Gojo gets killed by Sukuna, what sense will it make? either pushes Yuji and others to defeat Sukuna in full force, but that will make Gojo appear weak unless his "I will win" is really a fraud. If Sukuna’s tools could counter Gojo’s limitless, there’s absolutely no reason why he shouldn’t take his original form and start using his tools instead of taking a risky defensive approach of Mahoraga adaptation and 10S. Plus considering the fact that a previous 10S Zenin and a 6E Limitless Gojo killed each other, it makes Sukuna’s current position that much overwhelmingly stacked in his favour. His own experience+ Megumi’s memories. As for domain clashes, yeah it’s just that the type of domain Sukuna has that’s giving him an advantage. Not skill nor strength. But advantage is an advantage.
