@@samwill7259 I haven’t seen this or goesiger (due to them not have their “full series” on here on RU-vid). But even for those who had not seen it back in 2013 and 2014 were still just as insulted and appalled by the level of sheer worthlessness that was its American adaptation.
Honestly. This breakdown of Gokaiger brought me to tears. I have seen others, and they have honestly said all the same concepts and topics. They never really went that deep into the depth of the characters. Honestly loved how you compared Ahim and Warz. As a Sentai Fan myself, I started with Gokaiger. Never thought about it like how you did. You really had a good explanation, and breakdown. It's honestly fabulous. Nothing can't compare to it. I just want to let you know. I had to watch this with mobile data. Power outages suck. But worth it. You also went in depth about their strengths and weaknesses. About how like Ahim was basically behaving like Warz in episode 41. The dynamics are interesting to say at the least. Dynamics between Joe/Marvelous, Luka/Joe, Luka/Ahim, Ahim/Doc, Luka/Doc, and etc. I didn't really see as much as like a dynamic between Ahim, and Marvelous. Like I remember seeing Joe and Marvelous fighting together and basically making a really good team. Well as of recently. For example, 10 Gokaiger. They showed us the dynamic between Ahim and Marvelous. It showed how they both complemented each other's abilities and what not. And also their personalities. It just reminds me of Ahim and Luka. They both kept at each other's pace. Marvelous was probably weared down after his fight against the 99 sentai heros+ Gai. He was having trouble fighting the Sentai heros manifested from the keys, but Ahim also helped him. They both honestly really made a great duo. And judging by my rewatching of Gokaiger appearances and stuff. I seen their chemistry. Not by the "being attracted to each other's personality thing", but generally how they both act around each other. I can't really explain it right now. But it just makes me think they both have some sort of feelings for each other. There is evidence which backs this up. Anyways, great video my man 👍
one other movie to consider watching would be the team up with space sheriff gavin. in that movie you actually get the back story of captain marvelous.
@The Disney Brain You kind of did it before, but I still think it would make for good indepth discussion to really cover how Dino Thunder did a much better PR tribute even with more limits. Fanservice while minimal to Gokaiger in scope has the same level of heart when implemented, the main teens are a shout out to MMPRs original trees while being their own distinct characters. Heck the one full team up we got wasn't even using any Sentai footage and also gave the Ninja Storm cast prominent appearances. As well as giving each Ranger and civilian character a good send off. And this was done in spite of Disney being the company it was produced by simply due to Doug Sloan being a PR fan.
So because Christmas is bigger as an international holiday, they gave the international team the tribute episode. That is my ony rational for that episode.
PR just made that "New Powers" as a cheap excuse of having a multiverse. And after what Boom Comics did to FiveMan, which is a favorite among ASEAN countries, they'll be extremely pissed if PR vandalizes LiveMan, TurboRanger and JetMan.
I still think Dino Thunder was such a Season even if lowkey compared to Gokaiger. Fanservice when implemented have heart to them, and it is also a good show in it's own right.
I've noticed you havent posted anything in a while. Hope all is well! I always enjoy your power rangers and sentai content. I'm trying to take inspiration on content for my channel. But would love to do a video with you if ya are interested despite my channel being much smaller
Were I to have any authority on the matter, I would say you'd have to watch Zenkaiger to see what it does differently. I ensure you it's a very enjoyable show, but it's extremely different from Gokaiger. Also Decade, which, despite its flaws, tends to do a better job of telling a story than Zi-O.
