Been binging power rangers shows over the past few months, got to Overdrive. .... yikes. How did the guy playing red ranger even got through casting? :/
Having watched Dino Charge, Tyler is a breath of fresh air compared to the stoic “brave, do-it-on-my-own-god-complex” Rangers like Jayden and Troy (no offense to them, but they're just so severe and brooding, and that's their only trait). He's brave, enthusiastic, and sincere, like Leo, Wes, Carter, TJ, etc.
5 years old! the film itself is very fast-paced, dials down on the sepia tone as opposed to previous installments, and darker in terms of raising the stakes for the VKs and the color scheme for Mal it's very heartbreaking for her to make the hardest choice for the good of the kingdom Cheyenne Jackson is actually very slick playing Hades having that Steven Tyler rockstar quality, Audrey's new look is killer even though she's now an antagonist, it's also interesting to see allies and enemies collide to save everyone the songs are truly stepping up their game with Kenny Ortega directing the choreography and the lyrics and this is the most grown-up these characters have ever been given they have to make tough decisions my personal favorites involve a dance sequence involving knights in armor fighting our heroes and Sofia Carson as Evie finally getting a solo number of her own, she even becomes more the voice of reason for everyone to stop bickering amongst themselves to see the bigger picture the overall theme of all 3 films comes down to working together, putting aside past differences, and putting the rivalries on hold to achieve more life isn't a storybook but it's broken into chapters, some enemies can still turn into best friends, you can't live in fear because it doesn't protect you from anything, bad or good can come from anywhere, to make the world a better place we all have to do it face to face with one another sad to say that actor Cameron Boyce tragically passed away and this is his last time playing Carlos, son of Cruella de Ville but overall the movie does it's best to honor his memory and celebrate the other players making this second Disney franchise soar to its highest amazing colors, fresh updates of classic characters, catchy songs, and crucial life lessons the kids can learn so well from about friendship, tolerance, collaborating, and breaking down all barriers it's my 2nd favorite entry in the series next to movie 2 this one is 'rotten to the core' in the best way :)
I don’t hear any constructive critics. It’s like you just want to find wrongs with this movie. I still think this is one of the best Pokémon movie, it’s a real dark one too in the series.
While Power Rangers in Space was my favorite power rangers season as a kid, I was like a toddler, seeing reruns, there was already other Rangers, and given random toys. With Ninja Storm, I was age appropriate to watch it, especially easier to watch cause it was on Disney, and becoming one of my favorite seasons to this day, even if it’s not as great in comparison to other well written seasons.
I remember staying home from school in March/April 2007 when this was on TV. I was 11 years old and blown away! It did not appear on Cartoon Network again until around September/October of 2007 and I made my twin bro watch it with me. He thought it sucked after watching a few minutes of the middle of the movie. But I loved it back then for some reason.
Would you ever consider doing a review for hocus pocus Return to halloweentown including all the halloweentown movies which I believe you did all except the fourth one, Possibly twitches too which I think the first was the better of the two, Mostly ghostly movies 🤔 Sabrina the teenage witch 90s sitcom And any other dcoms you haven’t done yet Also a comparison video for all the descendants movies and then your faves in order Just ideas I’d love to see more videos, maybe you did some of my suggestions already I’m going to go look 👍🏽 I enjoy your reviews/videos
The Ishinomori museum is in Ishinomaki in Miyagi Prefecture. It was one of the harder hit areas and the museum was hit by the tsunami. It survived and is still there now.
People say that power rangers rpm was the darkest kids' media released in 2009, well, I'd beg to differ. There was this stop-motion animated movie based on a novel of the same name, written and directed by Henry Selik, that was released about a month before rpm aired, called "Coraline". It made BUTTONS of all things look darker compared to a sentient computer virus that ended trillions of lives.
m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d51RA6YH_uQ.html makes Venjix look like a total joke. I’m not even kidding. And it says a lot when this came out later the exact same year.
And now in cosmic fury we learn that the green morphin master was behind bringing all these ranger teams to help them. Gosh I this is my favorite power ranger show and I’m ashamed of how bad it is and how I thought this was good but it’s still my favorite
Very true about Billy’s improvement; and as you say, it wasn’t rushed, so it felt real and relatable. Whereas Donatello in TMNT was both a genius and a good fighter from the start, Billy had to work at it, and you went on that journey with him.
Mmpr will always be my favourite but cosmic fury got me back into power rangers. I even went back and watched dino fury. And then i found rpm online so those are currently my top 4.
Zoggy is my favourite and i love his progression. You can see his confidence grow. I would have liked to see more of his background how he ended up with the cartel.
shinkenger is childhood. i remember watching it when i was 7-8 (22 now) for some reason i miss power rangers more then a decade later. Ive been watching with my fiancé. Now that i have bigboy money , im going to get the bandai morpher (collectors addition) to satisfy my younger self 😂
SPD was the only Disney era that kept the mature themes of the show as producers were having a hard time trying to make Dekaranger's plot more kid-friendly. So that's why many things slipped in for this show such as Sky's dad being murdered by Mirloc and the one of the aliens looked like a mobster from The Godfather.
The biggest plot holes of this season is everyone on the staff forgets Mike existed until he returns How in the hell did the galatabeast get on the colony
Sure Mystic Force has flaws but it’s positive greatly outweigh it’s negatives and Nick is one of the positives he’s a relatable character that grows into a leader as the show progresses
