@@ChodyRayNot 100% since DBS was never a manga adaptation so expecting it to become one is pretty wierd to me and even if that does end up happening i think it's gonna be alot different from the manga to make it fit with the anime's contunuity

@@deckzone3000 Gohan very clearly crapped the bed against Buu, Picollo at this point in the series seemingly capped out. And I doubt Bulma wanted Trunks to be the Earth's defender. Which leaves Goten and Pan, but Idk if Pan was even born at this point in the series. And in GT we see Goten give up on fighting to instead chase girls. Uub looks like his best bet here.

Sometimes training someone is more important & better to your mental health than family; ever notice how monks & teachers divide from family & mental trauma to teach some person truth & guidance/discipline. Trust me I love my family but sometimes I study & watch the ways of trainers/sensei & I understand why there’s no mental blockage or damage/trauma.

In all fairness, Gohan and goten were grown at the time Goku decided to do this. It's also worth noting he had been living with his family for 10 years, so we can't use this to say he was a deadbeat dad

"they did nothing" it was the end of the show what did you want them to do? And following the OG continuity, Vegeta would get slapped around by Buu even after the time-skip, and following the Super continuity he didnt meet Uub formally

I honestly didn’t even realize that Goku was about to finish Buu off with this move. The end of the Buu saga was extremely boring imo. GT wasn’t any better.
To me this never made sense, because fat buu(Good Buu) lived. Uub is a reincarnation of evil buu, so stands to reason he wouldn't be a good guy. Even so why has Super forgotten about a character so important to Goku?
Some are forgetting Goku is now embracing his role as protector of the Earth. He's training UUB to be the next Goku *Because* Everyone has a normal life and they grew up.

Bro goku's story is one of the best ones I ever heard you can even see how he evolves THROUGH HIS GI at first în dbz he had the normal gi with the turtle school symbol, then after training with king kai his gi changed with king kai's symbol on the back but the turtle school symbol still remained on his heart reminding him of both of his masters, then in the freiza saga while on his way to planet namek his gi changed to have his name on both sides meaning he became his own master, after the android and cell saga, when he returned to life during the buu saga his gi changed again ditching the symbols meaning that he became A master teaching others, after that as we see in this video during the last world tournament we see him ditching even the whole turtle school gi changing it with a blue one showing he combletely detaching from any martial arts school and him completely being a master like king kai, kami, korin, master roshi, and the list goes on
Thats the dumbest thing in DBZ Buu is not that important to where we want him to come back and on top of that Goku has 2 sons and plenty of other fighters he could train but hes just going to leave and train uub 😑

Who is my favorite character by far. Was always my favorite as a kid and I didn’t know the lore. The fact that they’re the same character is awesome to me.
