yeah i donno why the Z fighters always standing around and dont step in........like dude you can do a solar flair or something anything then just chilling talking sh!t lol
@@loremaster8475 most of the time the fights are supposed to be one on one as a show of respect to the fighter and for them to test their limits and abilities.
Goku: “But I’ll need time to charge up. You’ll have to distract him for me…” Vegeta: “That doesn’t sound so bad.” Goku: “For 5 minutes… and considering how badly he was whooping my butt… I’m sure you can handle it.”
Someone made an interesting point about Goku always surpassing Vegeta and it basically came down to rest days. Goku allows his body to recover while Vegeta continually over trains.
When it comes to training goku is a genius. During the cell saga both goku and vegeta used the hyperbolic time chamber and even though vegeta used it twice goku was considerably stronger than him and also figured out a new form.
@@BaronGray083 i think vegeta was stronger, but couldn't gain the strength without losing speed. Gohan managed to gain speed and strength. Even when he transformed into super saiyan 2, cell said he made the same mistake as vegeta. Unfortunately for cell, he continued to talk and pissed off gohan into full transformation. Goku sensed the full strength of gohan, and really worked on making gohan stronger over himself.
damn right..the zen kai boost he got off of this beatdown made His Mastered SSJ2 Form land blows on Beerus..LOL Where Goku could not in SSJ3. Vegeta always mastered previous forms more hardcore than Goku before ascending...Goku just ascends faster because of his open mind and imagination in fighting. Vegeta's royal bloodline makes his body a little more durable within the same form as Goku so Goku counters that with ascending faster and training with others in DBZ. Now they both train with Broly, Beerus, and Whis...they are pretty much on even ground these days.
@@J.Lee-xv6wb what, vegeta's super saiyan form was stronger than goku's? goku solved the energy strain of the form and ascended to Perfect Cell-level monster power.
ya always hated how ss3 got disrespected so badly by beerus. smh. idk why goku didnt master it like the other forms in android arc... especially since it had stamina drain. it just makes no sense cept for derp plot reasons. but then dbs is the era of the more goofy goku. 😄😟😔
@@ssppeeaarr SSJ2 was meant to be the Perfect Form. It did not increase your size to the point that it was a stamina drain. Vegeta realized this and never focused SSJ3. He did not approve of techniques like Kaioken or energy draining forms. Vegeta only focused on making SSJ2 better and better. You see, Vegeta has Royal Saiyan Blood...it was basically created the same fashion as SPARTAN WARRIORS were from birth that only the strongest children were chosen to live and breed. Now in saying that I am not sure if saiyan's actually threw away the weaker saiyan's but they only allowed the best to be in Royal Company so with each generation of Royal Bloodline they became more and more durable. (King Vegeta explained this story to Tiny Vegeta thoroughly.) At the same Ki and same Form, Vegeta is and always has been more durable than Goku, (Against Kidbuu he actually struck fear for a few seconds into Kidbuu because he kept getting up again and again), he truly masters each form before pursuing another and his Blood demands it in a way because he has to work harder to beat himself down in training because of his durability which made his progressions better with each form than Goku's, but took "longer" to achieve. Goku countered Vegeta by having a open mind, and excepting training from other Masters thus giving him the advantage in finding new forms faster. In the end Vegeta's lower forms are more quality than Goku's, but Goku has always been one step ahead because of his willingness to train with others, learn new techniques, and his amazing imagination about fighting, which would be called RAW TALENT. The end result is when they fuse..you get 2 amazing Rivals that know everything about each other front to back. (Gokus great fighting imagination along with Vegeta's Royal Bloodline for durability.) Their fusion is better than any other Saiyan's that could fuse forever and always. Now days, they both train with Broly, Beerus, and Whis...they are pretty much on even ground now. They list Goku at 5'9 and about 135lbs in Base Form. They list Vegeta at 5'5 and about 123lbs in Base Form. Pound for Pound (if you will), Vegeta is the strongest. Goku is a Bantamweight Vegeta is a Flyweight To put this in human perspective: Goku = Bruce Lee, in size of Base Form. Vegeta = Henry Cejudo (when he was Flyweight Champion), in size of Base Form. Their weight and size increase as they power up. In SSJ3 Goku is easily 200lbs and about 5'10 - 5"11. In Mastered SSJ2 Vegeta is easily 175lbs and about 5'6.
Goku admits if he was fresh, it was possible for him to defeat kid buu but he dragged it on so vegeta could fight him. youd think how many times these heroes drag on the fight out of ego yet the world and other good guys are dying. youd think they learn their lesson a long time ago in the series >_>
@@silversurfer7098 I mean we did see him full power during his rage moment against Zamasu and Black, and also during the Tournament of Power when he got mad at Jiren while in his Complete Ultra Instinct form
@@silversurfer7098 you're telling me they were holding back when Jiren literally shot a strong as* energy wave against Goku's friends? Maybe before that moment they were holding back, bit after that they BOTH went full power, you can clearly see it in Goku's final kamehameha after which his body literally gave up. Even so, we did see Goku go full power against Jiren the first time he turned UI, remember him launching himself from the pillar against Jiren screaming at the top of his lungs? Yeah after that attack failed he literally lost UI form, so that's a proof he used all of his energy in that attack. And then again against Kefla, the last kamehameha that knocked her out was said by Whis to be the last resort Goku had and after that he would lose his UI form, which happened. I mean you can even see Goku's full power in DBZ during his first fight against Vegeta which left him paralyzed on the ground. Do I have to continue?
You'd think Gohan the smartest lf all these fighter could have understand how to take the enemy seriously but he also playing with Super buu when he could have easilu destroyed him lol.
@@gabegonzalez5055by you saying that super got it wrong because he realised goku was better than him, is implying that you think that Vegeta would from this point would just accept he is weaker and wouldn't even try to get stronger. Which isn't Vegeta, what is happening here is Vegeta accepting that in this moment Goku is stronger than Vegeta and he knows it, he's accepting and acknowledging that, not that he never will give up trying to be stronger than Goku.
My vote goes to Cell arch. Better story and villains that ties with Goku's past from Dragon Ball. Buu arc may very well have the best version of Vegeta, but Vegeta alone can't make this the best arc to me.
@@justinlynch3Yeah like the animation is great in the buu saga but I think it kind of peaked in general around mid Cell arc to the end of it. People often cite Goku vs. Cell as the best choreographed fight for a reason.
Eh.. it was good but, (Frieza Saga and the Epicness and Gruesomeness of his and Goku's battle was the best arc.) Their battle was incredible and Frieza made Goku actually say "He was tired of fighting" by the end of it. No villain has ever took the fight out of Goku like that. (The Saiyan Saga is what made people truly fall in love with Goku as a Hero and Vegeta as a Villain. It was good.) (The Android Saga gave a feel of something big lurking around the corner.. very suspenseful indeed.) (Most people think Cell arc was the best, Cell was amazing to the point you could almost root for him in a way because he was very entertaining.) The Frieza arc was what made me a DBZ fan, Frieza arc brought true fear to fans the first time watching it. The Babidi Saga is the perfect HALLOWEEN arc.☺ The Majinbuu arc was never planned until Cell ark was almost over and fans demanded more...So Toriyama actually sat back down and wrote out a very long arc in the Buu arc and did a very good job with it indeed but it was almost "comical" the entire way as compared to the previous arcs being so suspenseful and actually scary. Frieza arc was SCARY!!! Almost no one back then could predict the next episode and Frieza beat down EVERYONE badly killing several Hero's and gave Goku "THE FIGHT OF HIS LIFE" even in SSJ form. It is truly the LEGENDARY ARC. I will even go as far to say that if Frieza had not spent so much energy fighting so many warriors before Goku that he would have won probably, he was the truest of Tyrants and the greatest enemy to Goku and Vegeta.
@@J.Lee-xv6wb Ftieza may of killed heroes, namely Krillin, Dende and a reluctantly & gradually turning a new leaf Vegeta. But never forget, Cell killed THE hero, Goku himself. But yeah you can't go wrong with Cell or Frieza, really comes down to which you like more.
buu probly had the most broken regeneration ability in whole anime, even you cut or blast his entire body he'll just regenerate like nothing happened. genki dama is literally their only hope, an attack that can erase a pure evil being. hakai probably works too.
Hakai would easily work lol. The only thing the Hakai cannot Destroy is Angels and people who have used the super dragon balls to wish for immortality.
Genkidama actually is not different from the others moves, in the manga it's simply stated it destroyed all of Buu's cells, there were moments previously where Buu could be killled aswell.
Goku: "Yo, man, could ya cover for a sec? Actually, I'll need 60 of those to get mah gains back in play." Vegeta: "...uh, yeah, sure, just lemme dye my hair real quick"
Its a total plot fuck up, Gohan died in a planetary explosion when Goku and Vegeta extracted him abd the rest of the Z-Band he absorbed. As a fighter Gohan is entitled to keep his body as well so he should get there and wipe the floor with Buu. He is stronger than SSJ3 at that time.
Should’ve just did the fusion dance and wrapped things up. Sure Vegeta needed the character development, but they did not need Satan, Fat Buu, energy from the earthlings or anyone else.
I think he is about to do the giant super kamehameha jusst like in Dokkan and Legend (which shown the vision vegeta bought enough time and goku successfully shot the Giant super kameha wave)
I always assume when He says something like “I could’ve Beaten fat Buu At Super saiyan 3 The first time” Or “Maybe when I was Fresh” He’s Talking about Just Obliterating him with Dragonfist.
Exactly 💀💀💀 and people say DBZ goku is far smarter than DBS goku, did people forget this scene??? Or what about the part where he left the entire universe in the hands of two little kids that don't take anything seriously instead of taking care of it himself or letting gohan and Vegeta do it, as a result of him literally doing nothing in the buu arc and leaving it up to others, LITERALLY EVERYONE DIED MULTIPLE TIMES 💀💀💀
Bro really said "I could have ended it before, but I purposefully didnt so you could have a turn getting your ass beat and now I'm too tired to actually finish it"
Buu saga Goku was the stupidest Goku ever imo. I mean he made the same mistake not finishing off the fat Buu and even admits this. Yeah leave it to two children to clean up the mess you helped make. Literally if he stayed dead Buu would not have been revived lol. Should've left it at Cell and continued from there later if they wanted. Teasing us with a Tenkaichi Budokai like old dragon ball just for it to really be nothing but drama was flat, they could've waited longer, like after the 22nd where Piccolo daimao suddenly appears. The pacing was incredible there.
@@buster3041 Unprepared mentally, probably, but in terms of strength, Gohan was probably very close, if not equal to Goku's level after they trained in the HTC. His methods aside, Goku leaving it to Gohan makes sense since he saw a glimpse of SSJ2 while training with Gohan, and figured it was their best shot at beating Cell if Gohan could unlock it. Agreed though that Goku in Super is excessively goofy. Yeah, it's not like he was the smartest character ever, but it's not like he was completely oblivious to everything. He figured out Kami was possessing some dude in the World Martial Arts Tournament, but couldn't tell Beerus was in a Monaka costume? Wild.
Goku: I need time! You'll have to distract him for me! Vegeta: Well that doesn't seem so ba... Goku: FOR 5 MINUTES! And considering how badly he was kicking my butt...ah, I'm sure you can handle it. Vegeta: Fine! Majin Buu! I am PRINCE VEAAHHAHHHOHGODWHYTHEPAINNN! Goku: Da da daaa da da DA...da da da ta da! Da da daaa da da duh! Da da duh! Da da duh! DA DA DUH! I'MMA CHARGIN MY ATTACK!
He can't. That's a dub error. The whole point is that Kid Buu is irrational, that's why in the middle of a fight he can blow up a planet. His mind is all over the place, that pain doesn't register in his brain. Kid Buu can keep sacrificing pieces of himself, which should hurt him, but he's too wild to even understand pain.
I love how they've reached that point of great mutual respect after all they've been through. Goku keeps fighting Buu although he knows he can't win the way he is now, but he wants to protect Vegeta's life as long as he can and Vegeta realizing he has no chance against the enemy, but he wants to fight Buu to buy Goku as much time as possible so he can charge up to his max power. Basically, they put each other's life beyond their own.
Goku maybe... but Vegeta definitely not. He's a warrior so he enjoys the thrill of the fight... but getting his ass whopped like that I'm sure he didn't find it exciting.
Adorei o vídeo ficou muito bom adoro esse desenho animado é um dos melhores desenho animado que eu já vi Dragon ball esse desenho é muito bom é sensacional eu adoro
"if only i had 1 minute to charge up" Proceeds to talk for longer than a minute while Buu just stands there waiting. Anime truly is something else sometimes.
God this power scaling is SO MUCH better than super. Two minor characters fight in super and they say dumb shit like “the whole universe is shaking!” That’s lame as hell, where do you even go from there? they really jumped the shark with the super saiyan god shit
This is how Dragon Ball before. Goku is not so obsess fighting someone that would risk the life of all people, he takes things seriously when it matters. Unlike on Dragon Super where he became too goofy
Love this Vegeta, but sadly everything went back to default settings for a younger/for a new generation of kids who’ve never seen Z. To me the series ended with GT. When the characters were more in depth and more mature compared to how they are now. Heck, even kid Goku was mature in GT compared to the new version you see now. But I’m glad to have watched this and still can see it for what it is now. A masterpiece of storytelling and just straight up nostalgia
