I get that with Goku gaining Ultra Instinct the fans thought that he finally had a good chance of beating Superman, but Superman has that as well thanks to his Kryptonian martial arts.
this death battle is what the 2nd death battle was meant to be everything about this was incredible the animation, the music, the battle it was just great but arguably the best thing was how they gave respect to both characters, this is exactly how Goku and Superman would be if they met, there wasn't any bad blood or ill feelings between them, there weren't doing this because they hated eachother, but were simply testing there skills and there clearly liked and had alot of respect for the other while it is a bit sad to see goku lose again i didn't really feel bad on the contrary i felt happy the 2 of them were clearly having fun and that ending was so wholesome i couldn't help but have a smile on my face to me this was one of the best battles they've done and regardless of who's stronger both of them are champions as far as i'm concerned
Ur clearly an anime fan but ur objective opinion is refreshing. Many anime fans seem to know almost everything about Goku but nearly nothing about Supes. Their utter refusal or acceptance while screaming 'but Goku' can be annoying. Again nice comment 👍
The 2nd fight definitely felt like it was made to capitalize off the new wave of Dragon Ball stuff, but it also felt like it was made in bad faith. Like, they completely assassinate Superman’s character in the conclusion while hyping up Goku as if to make up for him losing. It's especially notable because iirc Ben (the voice of Wiz and a showrunner) used to absolutely hate Superman. I'm just glad they were able to give this one the time it needed to actually give respect to the characters and franchises (which they actively try to do nowadays).
You know, Superman still holds the crown as the ultimate powerhouse in the superhero world, right? But when it comes to anime, it's hard to beat Son Goku. He's like the superhero of anime, known for his incredible strength and fighting skills.

I don't get how some people thought the results would change. Unless Goku suddenly became invincible and obtained limitless power he's not beating Superman. As long as he has a breaking point he'll never win.

Superman is a nigh invincible and invulnerable being, he is the archetype superhero. That is the purpose of his character, Wiz said it best on the previous Goku vs Superman video saying, "he is not meant to be relatable, he is not meant to lose", that is why there are no limits to what he can do and why his abilities defy logic, that's why he has to have so many incredible feats. He is the be-all, end-all definition of hope in DC. Even characters like Dr. Manhattan and the Time trapper can't erase him, because Superman is the center of the DC universe and it all started with him, and without him, there is no DC universe. In some stories he may be hurt and even defeated, but in the end, he will overcome almost any obstacle or threat that comes along. Goku, while incredibly powerful with amazing abilities, is not an invincible, unstoppable character, he has limits and he strives hard to be the best warrior he can be, but that's why millions of people love him. Goku doesn't have to defeat Superman to make me happy, he's a great character all the same
I knew superman was gonna win when they brought up the feats with the anti monitor and world forger, cause anti monitor is literally so broken, same for the world forger. But beside that, this death battle was rly rly fun, the voice actors killed it and the music slaps

Best ending to a death battle. Ive always had an issue with them fighting just to kill, supes would know Goku is pure of heart and would fight just to have fun.

Yes, OBVIOUSLY IT IS NOT THE LAST FIGHT between goku vs superman maybe it will be for a while but at least in the analysis they said that in dragon ball there are feats of immeasurable speed which It is correct since they took into account Goku CC even though they omitted many of Goku's hax's that would have served him in the fight, anyway, according to those of death battle, this IS THE SECOND I mean the real Goku vs Superman 2, therefore the one from 2015 already it's not canon
It doesn't matter Goku story will end while Superman story will continue with new writers and new generation of kids knowing the character. Comic characters saga continue as long human beings are still around this planet.
I think that because of the outrage of goku vs superman and weirdly ben 10 they tried to change up there format a little bit. Giving both characters respect

@@Hunter5_90 Well I mean we’ll know that dragon all fights have been majorly downscaled to fit the theme of having gods and everything. If you think about it Dragon ball characters should be shattering entire existence with just a flick of their fingers but the fights have been scaled back so much. Kinda like in boruto. They’ve gotten so powerful that fights have to be drawn back a lot
@@VonKappallotthe problem with scaling in shows like that is that it doesn’t make sense most of the time. Take Gohan and Kefla for example. In the anime it took UI goku to beat Kefla but in the manga Gohan was on par with her. Also I get that the manga is made by a different person with some guidance from Toriyama. But we’ve seen events from it come to canon like Vegeta’s super Saiyan god form which debuted in the Broly movie but was already done in the manga.
