Good clipper and good improvement, not quiet like we all would like but to me it's quieter and more balanced then the first ones. I have 2 regular and now the gold ones for about a month now and these are indeed better.

When I bought my first andis I loved them they were quite and cut good after 3 months they were very noisy But still cut good I thought maybe it’s a defect blade I bought a second one as a back up after 2 months they were getting noisy I believe it’s the cam ( if that’s the right name for the plastic thing that moves the blade) hopefully they will improve or even sell that part

I bought mine a week ago and one of the blades broke, just one piece abd they don't sell replacement blades in gold for these and I'm so upset! If you know a secret that I don't, I'd love to know!!!

Real talk, I’m about to purchase them today most likely. Aesthetically they are pleasing to both client and barber (looks like a Gold Brick) but I don’t understand how they don’t care enough or listen enough to figure out a way to make the clippers quieter because we do have conversations with our clients And to constantly have to repeat yourself and talk loud is not the best experience. We know with cutting that the smallest details matter

Well actually they replaced a material inside, don’t know which material, but on the new copper ones they are supposedly less noisy and also when they re released the gold ones it should make less noise too

Yo man thanks for clarifying the #1 issue. I never understood it until now. I still use the wired Masters and never got the cordless ones because of the noise. Have you heard of an updated/quieter version coming out in 2022/2023?

We should do a DB test to see if they are truest quieter. To me they definitely sound a bit smoother compared to my old masters even with the new cam follower.

@@TankBeChoppin Yeah and also I don't even have the Masters but I know a Masters open is not like a 1 guard closed lol because a 1 closed is 3mm and the clipper closed is around 0.5mm so that's 3.5mm but it's more like a detachable 1 blade which is 2.4mm so it's a bit shorter. Probably close to a Wahl 0.5 guard with the lever half way open, depends how 0 gapped your clippers are tho lol

@@PoloBlendz thats always been the case even with the corded version. Remember if you place a guard on the clipper it is changing the length at which the blade cuts at because its keeping the blade a set distance away from the head. So your masters open open is about a half guard halfway open. Also if you zero gap your clippers now you are changing the measurements at which it cuts when its open not just closed.

If you want to keep your game up, every barber should have @ least two Cordless Masters, be it gold or silver. Run time on these are 2 cuts at best.

Someone threw a conspiracy theory out there that got me thinking 🤔. What if Andis had too many of the original silver ones in stock due to over prediction in sales and to push them out they just painted them gold and threw in the guards that also didn't sell? This dude also put that extra cam follower on their silver ones and it got them as quiet as the gold ones 🤦🏽‍♂️ Ain't no denying the power of them though 💪🏽
