Headshots in this game are really just a "itll happen on its own" type of thing. Because if you actually try and grind for headshots on this gsme you will 99% get mad and rage.
I disagree entirely. My philosophy for a while has been to do the good guns in Core game modes, and do the not so good ones in Hardcore (1 hit kill with any gun to the head unless it has a suppressor).
Giant Squid i mean its how ever you wanna go for it, but as a player whos more based on playing the objective to win and also complete challenges, headshots just domt matter. Id rather be 20th prestige than be 3rd with EZ.
yeah, that's how i approach it too. i watch people on youtube and they'll say that they get at least 10 headshot a game, and i'm over here just thankful to get 1 or 2 headshots a game.
Remember to drop a like if you enjoyed! Another tip I forgot to mention is the help of optical attachments. Sometimes you may not like using Red Dot Sight on certain weapons (AK47) but it really helps you aim for the head.
NerosCinema Free For All is by far the best for headshots when going for sniper headshots.. some maps arent great but most of the time you can find people not looking your way and get an easy headshot.

HERE ARE SOME MORE TIPS: headshots are a lot easier with silencers (especially when You get to pistoles)and UAV Jam and those sniper focused maps like bog or block are ur friend especially If you can flank, snipers tend to be focused in one direction and some are just aiming down the scopes the whole time causing them to have limited vision also use flash bangs I noticed that when I used them people would go prone making it easier to walk up and shoot them.
My first Gold gun was the M16 as well but I got my Pistols and Shotguns Regal last weekend because of that shotgun/pistol Weekendwarfare playlist :) I have my ARs, LMGs and Snipers left to Exclusion Zone
Yeah there was definitely lots of times where i hated the playlist because of the insane lag comp and of course shotguns can delete you lol but I was like i'm gonna push through it and get these camos done and take advantage of it. It's definitely easier to go for headshots in that gamemode than in reg dom because in those other modes you're so limited to what you could do since you can get 2 shotted across the map. Everyone's using the same guns as you which makes it fair and kind of easier I guess for those headshots.
I just got my gold P90 last week, my 5th gold gun so far. When I first started playing I had trouble finding a gun that "clicked" with me, except for the M4A1, and I used that exclusively for the first week of playing and I got it gold in about 7 to 8 days, or about a day and a half of in-game play time. Ran Bandolier, UAV Jammer and Deep Impact, I aimed for the head whenever I could.
hey, this is literally, all I do in this game. I'm currently working on SMGs and just have the Uzi and P90 left to do till I have regal. I have regal for ARs, and Snipers. The game mode I play is TDM for two reasons. One, it has the highest population of players so it's easy to find a lobby full of "inexperienced" players, as most casual COD players play TDM. Two, since there's no objective, you won't constantly be blown up by mini-nukes, and you also won't be a detriment to your team because you'll be trying to get kills. Snipers- I did snipers first because I love them in this game and I think they are the easiest to actually aim at the head. There's not much to say about them overall because it's pretty straightforward, aim for the head. Don't use an ACOG unless your a sadist. I do recommend, and I will for all guns, to have two classes. One with your preferred red perk and one with UAV jammer, snipers especially. UAV jammer is great because you'll still get a one shot with all of the snipers if you hit the head, and for the other guns you'll be getting quicker kills in some instances, but sometimes you'll just feel you need jammer to stay alive for more then 5 seconds in TDM. Bandolier is also a must. ARs- Know your recoil and learn to burst fire. The M16, as Nero mentions, is hard simply because you'll end up killing them on accident because the guns so OP. Guns like the AK-47 and MP-44 have odd recoil that just make it a pain, but overall they aren't to bad. I personally found the G3 to be the hardest, I think it was because I just wasn't good with the gun at first, and the M14 was by far the easiest, with stoping power the one hit headshot range is incredible and makes it quite fun to use. SMG- This is where is starts to get interesting, mainly because some of these guns are just straight up weak in comparison to what you typically be up against. I love the skorpion and Uzi but it's hard to compete against guns like the MP5 and 74u or ARs with those guns. So again, know your gun. Try to manipulate engagements to your guns strengths and utilize stuns and flashes to beat those guns. I won't give advice on LMGs, shotguns, or pistols. I've not gotten gold for any of these and it would just get redundant anyways. As I said this is mostly all I do and I'm currently 7th prestige. Sometimes I'll get frustrated or bored and do something else, but mainly I'm on the path to legitimately getting Exclusion Zone and it's just how I make prestiging less of a chore for myself. I just focus on camo challenges and the levels just seem to just fly by. I hope you all get some use from these tips, Ty Nero for another good video. Regal on Pistols, Snipers, Shotguns, LMGs, and Gold m16 too. Took me loooooong time, but basically did exactly what you said in the video. Oh and another thing, it might seem cheap, but if you find someone AFK then greaaaat help especially for shotguns lol.

almost finished with all gold snipers, gold 74u, gold m16. Another thing to do is just don't focus on headshots... only gun i have gold for and actually tried for headshots was the dragnouv, have fun earning them like i did its wayyyyy funner!
It's funny how you get a few lucky headshots with a sniper rifle, people instantly think you have aimbot. Well maybe if they were standing in the open, they wouldn't have died. The COD community just drops in maturity every year.
Speaking of gold, been playing BO2 lately and have gotten the msmc, mp7, peacekeeper, an-94 and dsr-50 in gold. I barely played this game until this year and am wishing that I played it more in its prime..
I play on steam and the servers aren't full enough to reliably play groundwar and domination, but I've still got gold m40a3, Barrett 50, Papa Saw, and Rpd. Working towards m16, mp5, p90, and deagle. In the top 1% overall on leaderboards and I'm in top 100 for core tdm. Also got the game a week after New Years..
The snipers were the easiest when it comes to exclusion zone. Like really a long as you aim high youll always get a kill. Especially with the semi automatic ones.
I have 2 right now, working on the M4. Trying to go straight down the list of assault rifles, the to submachine gun, and so on. it's a pain, but I'm not gonna use my M4 on a map like crossfire. So taking my time as well.
Sinister Clips I agree, but that pistol holds a very special place in my heart, it's my favorite pistol in gaming and real life and I own one as well. Kinda. I mean, it's airsoft, but full metal and blowback, it truly is a perfect replica.
EdoloChannel Yeah but just wanted to point out that even though you need to be a higher level to use the m1911 than the usp.45, the usp still has better stats.
i have 4 gold snipers.. almost done my last now. ive got a gold RPD. almost gold with the w1200 shotgun and the M249 Saw. i always only play groundwar and i bounce from class to class depending on the situation
i got all my snipers gold, plus the M4 and the M16. i'm a long way from exclusion, but i have a lot of headshots spread around all my weapons. i'm really close to getting red tiger on the mp44, ak47, and the p90, so those will be gold soon. all other weapons have at least 25 headshots with a lot of them approaching blue tiger. i tend to switch to the gun next gun in the class as i unlock it.

So far my gold guns are M16, M14. AK-47, M4, MP44, AK-74u and Desert Deagle. Two assault rifles missing from regal camo. After that regal i do one sniper gold and then do some other category to regal and one sniper again and so on.
I can say I earned Exclusion. Started only a week after launch, finished early January. I think I earned regal in order of SMGs, ARs, Snipers or Shotguns (forgot which one first), Pistols, and finally LMGs
I've got exclusion zone camo legit. It was really pain full at times especially shotguns and mini uzi but I did it. I'm like Nero's buddy I only really have fun when I'm unlocking the challenges. So I'm kinda burnt out with MWR right now so its back to battlefield 1 for me.
I have 11 Gold guns (All pistols, All shotguns, M16, AK47, M4, G3, G36C.) And apparently I live under a rock, this is the first i've heard of this "Exclusion Zone" camo...

Also some tips I have for anyone going for headshots is to play respawn gamemodes(TDM,Domination,etc.) and sabotage. While playing sabotage if anyone is planting the bomb it's pretty much a guaranteed headshot.
just play hardcore i get like 15-30 headshots a game. its like 1 bullet headshot and people play more campy and slow so its easier to get the headshots you need! :D
Just do cage match. Put your party privacy on open and tell your friend to hover over your name. Click search. And tell your friend to join. Works every time on psn.
I have my snipers regal. Hardcore KC for the M21 & Drag. Then I found free for all the easiest for me to get headshots. I could average anywhere from 5 to 10 per game. #notaboostingdouche

I just got 150 headshots with the mp5 (my favorite gun) shit took forever like I just got it 5 minutes ago. There's no way I'm gonna go for any other gold except maybe deagle and snipers
