I sang in a Southern Gospel Quartet for years with my father and brother. This was our opening song. We stopped touring due to my fathers health. Before my father passed away my brother and I wanted to surprise him. So we arranged for us to sing this song one more time at our church. My dad was totally surprised as I handed him the mic. My dad took the lead on this song as he always did. It was the greatest moment I had singing with my group one last time. It was like a light was turned on in dad and he got his strength back. Shortly after his health started to fail more and then in 2018 he went home to be with the Lord!!

I will forever standby my opinion that this is the greatest live performance by a southern gospel group ever! Jay Parrack and Tim Riley max out the range on this song. Riley's low notes are insanely supported and he holds them for an inhuman amount of time. Best Gold City line up for me!

My dad was in a gospel quartet for 11 years and this song was always one of my favorite songs because he sang lead on this one. Glory Train was another great song they did, they would always have someone come on stage and blow a train whistle. Good times!

It's a lot of things but these guys are fun to watch, and not trying to "put on a show" or a "righteousness demo" to the camera. Jonathan W. has emotion in his presentation, and Jay is all around...personality, and Tim is simply the "VOICE." Love these guys.

Love. It. Praise God for what he has done in my life I'm a breast cancer survivor. Was diagnosed Sep 13 2016 and for over a year and a. Half I was 3 stage I'm. Not given up was. The song that have me. A frighten sport and. God's amazing hand was on my shoulder the Chloe time my last treatment was Oct 27 2017. And all my checkups have been great. God. Did give up on me

The key it's being sung in is Ab, so Tim is down on the low Ab and Jay is on a high Eb. Low Ab is in the range of George Younce and JD Sumner, 2 more of the great bass singers.

AND...she married Greg Ritchie. Greg is the son of Jerry Ritchie--who was the original lead singer for Gold City. Greg is one of the best in the world on drums and now tours and records for everything Bill Gaither does. Greg and Charlotte are both awesome people. Don't ever try to steal Greg's lunch money though...he recently won a World Championship in full-contact Brazilian Jui Jitsu!
