My whimsical journey to the Gold Coast for several days in September 2019. It's the sixth-largest city in Australia and a major tourist destination - widely known for its world-class beaches, glorious sub-tropical climate, impressive coastal skyline and many attractions such as theme parks and rainforest hinterland.
It also features the massive Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, The Star Gold Coast casino, the second tallest-building in the Souther Hemisphere and a surprisingly large Timezone arcade in Coolangatta (with bizarre Mario/koala hybrid statue).
