This video was almost like ASMR, it was so relaxing to watch. Great combo of videography, slow motion, music, and great scenery. Loved it! My partner took me to GC last year for my 30th and did jetski and parasailing. This brought me back to that wonderful day :)

Love that Meriton. I've stayed there a couple of times. Perfect spot in Surfers and really good prices for what you get. Congrats on the 10k!

bahahaha right?! They did warn me but I've never seen 2.5kg of nachos in the flesh and severely underestimated it! It was an actual mountain of food hahaha We got the very large amount of leftovers to go and gave them to a guy sleeping rough nearby - he was stoked!

Dear Phoebe and Matt, just wanted to say thank-you for all the information you have provided in this and other gold coast videos, I am meeting my daughter with my granddaughter of 8 MTHS who I haven't seen yet next week on the Gold Coast starting at the Star hotel. Gold Coast! An amazing place where I missed out on water activities when I was there 😅. The ‘Phoebe Cam’ is awesome! Flyboarding looks so cool but at the same time it seems hard to accomplish, especially with my skills 😂. Parasailing seems great too! I’ve got the feeling my to-do list is getting longer again 🙃. Kayaking is always nice, planning to do some kayaking again when I will travel to Fuerteventura around NYE 2022. “A little bit of nachos”, never seen so much nachos on one plate 🤤. I love doing a boat ride along places. It’s a great way to see the city from another POV. That Meriton suite is the best one can wish for. I stayed in Mantra Circle on Cavill and even though that’s a great accommodation too, it’s not gonna be better the Meriton you showed us. Thanks for showing the parts of Gold Coast I haven’t seen yet. Greetings from the Island of Tenerife ☀️ (part of Spain), yes I am finally traveling abroad again since my Aussie trip in January 2020! @@travelforphoebe thanks darls :) we head up to bris tonight for 3 nights staying at royal on the park, then sunday go down to surfers staying at QT for 4 nights :) So super excited :) Only scary part is tonight theyre expecting a supercell storm, hail stones as big as golf balls and theyre even predicting a tornado. im going to be terrified on the plane flying through all of that lol we arrive at 10:30pm tonight at the airport, was going to go to the treasury casino after weve checked in, but think itll be room service and a night snuggling watching a movie hehe

Hello!! I started out with 'Run 5k' - it's awesome! Helps you build up slowly through short intervals and it's actually achievable (I've tried some in the past but they build too quickly). From there I started following the 'Run 5k' program with Nike Run Club. Their app is free and the guided runs are amazing - what's great about it is they do all kinds of different runs so you aren't just trying to belt out long distances every day.

Good seeing some travel Vloggers doing a video about the city I live. When I saw a drunk guy from Fisherman’s Wharf lifting his shirt up, that’s typical of the patrons from Fishos on a Sunday. Lol. I used to go there 10 years ago and got pretty drunk 😵 😂

Absolutely!! I started off with 'Run 5k' - it helps you slowly build up with easy intervals. Once I finished that program, I started with the Nike Run Club app and began following Nike's '5k training program' you could find it easily just by googling it. Try something like 'Nike Run Club 5km training program'. There's a PDF that tells you which guided runs to do and the combination of speed runs and recovery/long runs helps you slowly build strength and endurance! All free!

As someone who had NEVER run I started with ‘Run 5K’ - it starts off with really easy intervals and builds you up slowly, only needing you to run 3 times a week! Once I’d done that I downloaded the Nike Run Club app and got online and searched for their 5K program. You just follow their guided runs and it’s awesome cos the coaches help you work on improving your technique - it’s awesome! They made running fun and possible (and I HATED running. I could not do it at all). 🙌🏻🙌🏻

One thing to mention is there are bull sharks in the rivers and canals, so please don't swim. Water sports and boating is fine. And don't let this scare you! Have fun, but with Australia you always need to be aware of the dangers to stay away from and you're set to go.

hahahaha oh that makes me so happy - glad it could relax you! I think the GC has that effect on people, right? We were both so relaxed being there too. Sounds like a heck of a way to turn 30!!
