Took a second trip back to a site from the early 1900's that was an old swimming site in a river. I found a couple of antique gold rings and Mark had the find of the year and scored a 10 dollar gold piece.
though I had some problem with sea water It also ru-vid.comUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn
Tom says to Mark "Go on, Gitch you a gold!" Famous last words! Congrats to Mark on finding such a lovely gold coin. Great assortment of relics too. I've found many of the Princess Pat rouge tins but have not seen that lipstick holder before. Another great video Tom. Best wishes and happy hunting, Dave.
What a fun hunt!! Congrats on the 2 gold rings and your Buddy's beautiful gold $10 coin!! WOW!! I like your intro, too and your close out!! Great editing!!
Congratulations on an amazing day at the old swimming hole. Some nice relics, beautiful rings and one truly amazing gold coin. Wow. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

Wow great finds!!! You found so many Amazing things!!!! I truly love the filigree ring it has my birthstone in it which is garnet just beautiful and the big ring was so beautiful and ornate. Congrats on the gold coin that is really awesome!!! I would love to own an antique filigree ring. I love old and antique things. Congrats again glad I found your channel
Two years ago I helped a fellow get started. Taught him the basics, helped him get an Ace 250 and pinpointer and set him free. Two weeks later he calls me. His SECOND TARGET was an 1876 $20 Double Eagle gold coin. I’ve never found a gold coin in 9 years of detecting. He’s since found a second smaller coin. I hate him. Lol.
Oh my goodness, that was a great hunt for the both of you! That Gold coin was an epic signal! I love the way Mark was jumping about in the water, as much as I hate to admit it I think I might have done the same thing lol!! Thanks so much for this awesome video!
That is a beautiful gold coin, I have heard of $10 and $20 gold pieces but have never seen one. Nothing can compare to the coins they had back then that was when America was blessed.
Hey bud long time no see...I used to be subscribed to your channel about a yr ago and puter went down...just now getting around to re subscribing to all my favorite detectors and came across yours...grats on the gold and i will be looking foward to seeing you find lots more good stuff!
Super hunt Tom! Congratulations on the rings. Mark found his find of a lifetime $10 gold piece. Just searched eBay and the coin is worth anything between $650 to $800. I think he owes you a beer! 🍺 I believe you are next on the gold coin list Tom! GL and HH to the both of you.
great finds; the artifacts are amazing in themselves; the lipstick and lifeguard buckle Mark found then your elegant ring man that ring is sweet; they don't make rings like that anymore; then the gold coin is mint; I cannot believe the condition and he didn't even scratch it; how long did he swish it around in the scoop incredible; really enjoy your videos Tom thanks for taking me along; awesome
Awesome camera picture! It looks great 👍🏼. I love that women’s ring!! It’s beautiful. That $10 gold piece is worth good money! The red book seems low priced on this when I looked it up. He should send it in to PCGS and get it graded.
Never get a coin graded it's a waste of money. The chances of you getting your money back on a graded coin is next to nothing. Most coin shops won't even sell coins that are in those plastic holders because they fear you might try selling it back to them one day.
Great video Tom I'm a little behind.. but better later then never... Congratulations to you guys awesome find.. just noticed your latest upload, more to watch LOL HH buddy JIM 👍
Awesome video Tom. Congrats to your friend. Do you mind if I share this story? Nathan Dog is my co-pirate just dug a 5 Dollar one 2 weeks ago in Montana. A lot of gold coins getting dug this year. Amazing. BOLOYNH, Mike
Well, that gold coin certainly got my attention. Saw the title in the right sidebar. Now you've got a new sub. Whooee, what a gorgeous coin! Liked the happy feet dance, too, lol! That Edwardian ruby ring... beautiful! Great hunt, guys!
Hi guys. Im watching sometime later in Australia.. Could you please tell me where you got the add on handle for your wooden handle on your coin scoop . Loved the gold coin find
Great job as usual, that spot never seems to disappoint! The new camera is GREAT! Cold weather is right around the corner, get those river trips in quick! Gold coin is still on my bucket list, but I love seeing others fulfill that dream. Need to try out one of those carbon fiber poles for your scoop next year. I do not understand the two thumbs down?
I'm a new subscriber.. WOW A $10 GOLD COIN....The one thing I really like about your style. IS you don't tell where you're at.. I'm probably one of the few who like this.. It makes the hunt more exciting for me as a viewer.. I'm from Indiana.. I think you need to keep these secrets to yourself.. I truly love your excitement when you find something.. IT'S like I'm there with you guys.. THANK YOU for sharing this.. GOD BLESS YOU & STAY SAFE
The main reason is because the locals started helping themselves a couple years back when we found a virgin site that was loaded , so I don't show the surroundings or landmarks anymore.. Gold brings everyoine out from the woodwork trying to figure out where im finding this stuff..
