You might be able to move it down a bit if you put dripstone on the area where they land so they dont have to drop as far (which I believe would slightly increase the rates)
@@frogman611the fall does 27 damage, to achieve the same with dripstone you have to pillar 15 up. However, the dripstone is on top of the hoppers so this means you have to pillar 16 blocks above the hoppers I think. (Or 15 blocks above the dripstone)
@@frogman611 @waltuh2.3bviews3secondsago3 a zombie piglin has 20 hp and dripstone does double dmg so a regular fall needs to be 24 high or 14 high before landing on dripstone, dripstone can be placed on mud and soulsand which regular hoppers can pull through
A little tip is if you own frost walker boots wear those while making this beacause then you wont be taking any damage from the magma blocks or you could always just drink fire ress potions.
You don't need to hold sneak but toggle on and off (Options -> Controls -> Sneak: Hold/Toggle) it's good if you don't have Frost Walker but have Swift Sneak enchantment, I was in a middle of building then remember this, god bless my finger. Hope this help

Theres always that one bit that you have to grind for lol (magma blocks), i am almost done getting the materials. I also recommend getting shulker boxes to bring all the magma blocks with you and and 2 ender chests so you can teleport the items from point A, to point B.
I must admit that this farm is efficient and the only problem is collecting all those magma blocks 😅. But the design is very good and just make sure to use some fire resistance potion cause you will destroy your armor. Thanks for the tutorial Kmond!
You can make a simple magma cube farm for magma cremes. 4 spicy slimeballs equal one magma block. You can also use a slime balls from a slime farm and blaze powder to obtain the forbidden ben-gay.
Awesome farm, works great! Thanks for the build! The magma blocks were a pain to get but I was able to get them after going afk 8 hours on my magma cube farm
For the falling part the fastest way is to just put one temporary blocks on each side middle and on the 4 sides of the block your are standing on. Then fill in and remove temporary. Then repeat
I suggest making the slab roof first and then make the layers as you work your way down to prevent any nuisances like ghasts spawning while ur building.
if you feel lazy i must say that building it in a full square (not in a diamond shape) works perfectly fine. Also I onli made two floors and its still stupidly efficient
Its hard to find the best spot for best spawn rate of the piglins cause if u get too high the items are not dropping because my server cant render it any tips?
By far the most tedious part of these farms is getting the magma (i died in the void while recharging my pickaxes at enderman farm so i lost all my gear and had to get twice the amount of magma blacks T_T)
Does it matter on what height I build the farm? I was thinking of building the same thing a little bit higher so that I can fit sorting system on the bottom. Will that do?
Can i connect something like rotten flesh system that from all the chests the rotten flesh will go to other chest or just go into lava? Do you think i can make something with redstone like others do?
I made this farm, also made sure to do it in a nether_wastes biom, but there are magma slimes spawning, and a lot of them aswell, did I do something wrong?
Magma cubes spawn in 3 block high areas, so this farm will spawn magma cubes as well as zombie piglins. When I was having this issue with the farm I tweaked it to have 2 blocks high per level with 5 levels, and that prevented the magma cubes. The slabs on top should also be two blocks above the final layer so the cubes won't spawn there either.
is there a way to build a sorting system with this build without having to brake the bedrock or change tha farm(i already build the farm and the middle chest always fills out in about 30 min so i have to collect every 30 min)
so how many platforms can I make to reach the limit of the maximum efficiency of the farm? and rather than dropping it in the nether approximately how much do I get if I use portal based one?
portal based can get you up to 4 times this amount - depends on how far you want to go with it. You don't want to do too many layers that it encroaches on your AFK spot, I would argue there is a point where it reaches diminishing returns for the effort, but I'm not sure how many exactly. If the platforms were smaller you could add more, say in the case of Gnembon's design, but in his case you afk lower and have to do some spawn proofing. The other alternative is to have it lower and to make a perimeter. If this design is 4 layers then it is that way for a reason.
i can imagine any sorter would work but you would have to build the sorter before the rest of the farm or else the drop chute will be shorter, although you could always place dripstone at the bottom if its made shorter for an autosorter
I made a one choice sorter that sends the nuggets to chests and the rotten flesh to a dropper. One would need an army of clerics to trade all of it away otherwise.
I hope no one will make the mistake I made baking my brain for a hour to why pigmens were not attracted to the turtle eggs. It was the mobgriefing torned to false, once turned true, it will work 😂
The magma cubes will eventually either despawn on their own or fall down, hit the bedrock and despawn. They don't affect the rates that much, but you can also make them fall down faster by placing Iron golems on the outside of the platforms, this way all of the magma cubes will see the golem and start jumping towards it and eventually fall down.
@@lucaszhang3188 Weird. I have a farm like this, but only one level (plus a glass roof) and I've never had any magma cubes. Mine is 100% in nether waste though, no basalt delta. Remember biomes are 3-d so if you are near a basalt delta, some may overlap into your farm. My spawning platform space is 2 blocks high; maybe that has something to do with it.
I built the farm, but zombified pigmen are not spawning. i built it in a nether waste as intended but there's nothing spawning even if I fly away in my elytra. Can anybody give me a solution?
try to go to the options and change the simulation distance.. try lowering it or maybe its too low and you can try higher it.. you need to go to options and then video settings , and you'll find ''simulation distance'' just under the render distance option , try to change it , and let me know if it works :)
