@de-bodgery I just watched a video on cheap DROs . Using a cheap tablet for a monitor. I have to admit I was quasi impressed with some of the "cheaper" ? 450 vs 4500. But if money was no obstacle? I definitely use tempsonic.
@@Vmaxfodder I'd like to put a DRO on my lathe. It needs a few other things too that I have yet to add to it. A DRO would make a lot of operations that I currently do via the handles into something a lot more accurate and take away a good bit of guess work.
Never tried it...not sure how good it is. I solder a lot so if it's an effective flux, I'll know it pretty quickly. You want flux to be slightly corrosive so that it cleans off oxidization and grunge so that solder can flow to clean bare metal. How else do you do that except with something that can eat away the junk on the metal you want to solder to?
