What I want to know is from 0:00 to 0:12 what is the title of the segment called or show?

Hmmmm...this is dubbed from a VHS tape with lots of different things on it -- basically things where we just said, oh, let's record this, while it was being broadcast. So...I don't recall! Think it's from a Manhattan Cable TV show, though.

@@BettyByte Well can you tell me what you do know about that so I can try and find it for myself?

Brabb-Sprague's performance really earned her a "silver" medal... During the technical routine, a Brazilian judge mistyped the score she wanted to give to the Canadian swimmer and then current world champion Sylvie Fréchette. Instead of giving Fréchette the 9.7 she wanted to give her, the Brazilian mistyped her score and gave her an 8.7 instead. As soon as she realised her mistake, the Brazilian judge wanted to correct her score but the official in charge at that time, an American, who probably wanted to favor Brabb-Sprague, would have none of it. Had it not been for that blunder, and the dishonesty of the American official, Fréchette would have won the gold medal. Later, the IOC recognised its mistake and the unfairness of the situation and ended up awarding Sylvie Fréchette the gold medal in an official ceremony in Montreal 16 months later. Bragg-Sprague was still allowed to keep her gold medal though.

And then her husband got called up to play for the Toronto Blue Jays, and he got booed by his fans.

Her gold medal was very unfair...another swimmers were better than her. Guilty judges !!

Opinions are always entitled, but yeah like so many things (including the Olympic games) when it come down to money and endorsements, I'm sure there was favoritism even with this performance. Interesting to say with the broadcasters statement, this was her last Olympic performance. Kinda makes me wonder too.
