Funny how after watching videos for a while, I still hear the sound in my head out walking, or driving the car! I'm getting a second hand GPZ soon :) I've never even done detecting but when I get the time will enjoy being out there to be sure. Like the show too, just the right amount of commentary with the odd bit of environmental education and sharing machine settings. You should tell us exact coords of your locations too. Ha ha joke, that's one thing 0% of lucky prospectors share I bet ;)

Well done JG. Nothing better than a rattle in the Jar. About to start 3 weeks leave so hope to put a few rattles in the jar myself. Maryborough has been fairly good to many over the years and there is still plenty left just maybe a bit more ground between them. Last time I was there the bloody big Mossies nearly drove me mad. And seemed immune to the repellent. But at least the cooler weather will shut them down until next summer.
Good to see your still digging some nice gold Jay, good work.That ground is still very dry there, Mite hold up the detecting for a few days but they certainly need good rain down there soon. Cheers Peter

Awesome, it must be a good feeling when the warmer weather cones around after months of snow. We dont get that here, but it does get cold though and snows in the mountains. Good luck mate. I wanna see big one! JG

I was so happy for you when you found your nugget of Gold. Did you know that smaller particles of Gold will come together and coalesce over time. Great stuff eh!

The gpz 7000 minelab is completely surpassed by the long ranks for gold which are efficient and 20 times faster and deeper than the gpz7000 is too expensive 8500 dollars !!! minelab technology has become obsessed with the search for gold !!!! I sold my minelab gpx7000 and I bought a Ger detect gold hunter 6 months ago and it is incredible and I bought it 3200 dollars in France for the Congo !!!! I am very happy!!!!!
Nice vid. I just think the detector has a too wide range for small targets like gold. Seems harder to aim accurately with that one. Also the head for detection looks way bigger then others I saw.
