We return to a gold nugget patch we found last year to try the new Nugget Finder Z-Search coils on our Minelab GPZ 7000 metal detectors. Keen to find a few more gold nuggets this is the first detecting spot in the Murchison gold fields before heading further north. Join us on our trip through old gold rush towns of Western Australia.

Awesome day with your cool upgrades! Great looking gold. It is fun to follow you thru the towns you pass on your way North! I look all the towns up on Google maps and then get the distances to other areas. Helps me get a better idea of your travels. PS I hope the typhoon west of you doesn’t get you trapped out in the bush with messy roads.

Good to see you with the ZSearch. I got one when they first came out . The sensitivity on small gold is amazing . The stock coil will not be going back on . Here in Vic I run high yield , difficult , sensitivity 20 and audio smoothing off

Isn't a 12 inch a step down from the 14", sure, it is lighter, which make swinging easier, but doesn't a larger coil look deeper....?

Smaller coil is more sensitive to smaller gold. There's allot more smaller gold still out there than big ones.👍🍀⛏

You should use one of those green plastic scoops to wave over or under your detector to find the gold cause the salt in your hands can give a false positive sound. Just my thoughts. Good luck hunting hope yall fins another "WELCOME STRANGER" nugget
