the mindset keyshawn has is exactly how the US can lose unexpectedly against international opposition. the moment you think you've already won the game on paper leaves you open for complacency. international players step up in FIBA competitions because they get a different role and become empowered to do more on the court versus their typical role in their NBA team. great example is patty mills who becomes a franchise player when he plays for australia. this olympic tournament won't be as easy as a lot of americans are expecting it to be.

I think it will be real interesting to see France in the next Olympics. Wemby will be 5 years into the NBA, maybe they will have an aging Gobert, Noah their 17 year old that's going top 5 next draft, Risacher, Bilal, Alex Sarr. The amount of talent that nationality is developing is crazy. They may be the first country ever outside the US to have 3 number 1 picks ever in back to back to back drafts

The starting 5 is comparable to any in history including dream teams 1, & another im not about to look up. Point is, this bench is good enough, but it’s not an all time bench.

6:53 Keyshawn, that’s not what Rachel was saying. The problem of that 2014 was that it wasn’t a team. If they had actual coaching and built better chemistry, they would’ve easily won. What Rachel is saying is spot on on how the USA national program course corrected in their preparation.
