A couple friends of mine went gold panning, when we were in Alaska. They both wound up with about six flakes each. So you've set the world on fire.

Funny that I was just thinking about when my brother Curtis took me up the Santiam River, we hiked and hiked, because he had a dream he found gold underneath moss on a bend in the river on a huge rock. Was one of the best times I ever spent with him. He loved panning for gold. He passed 16 years ago from liver and colon cancer…he was only 49. Just found out last weekend, my oldest brother has brain cancer….my Pop passed 3 weeks before my brother from cancer…my mom passed from cancer 6 years ago.. good grief.. what is going on?

I went panning with a buddy one time. It’s a lot of work! But at the end of the day, he says here, do one more pan. I still remember the thrill of finding the small nugget he salted that last pan with! Good times! 😂

This was fun, I already got recommended Pauly's video and watched it, but I love seeing your perspective, same place and time but a different view entirely. Love it Steve, keep it up!

If you could camp there overnight, and bring some Step 2s, I think that is a recipe for gold!!...because you are our piece of gold!
