I question if its worth the effort and expense of consumables needed to extract the gold unless doing it on an industrial scale where a lot more scrap can be processed in a single batch. The gold plating is VERY THIN and even getting a gram of gold would be hard.

wish there was a way, even it took longer, to refine the gold without using these acids, with things we have at home. i know solution of vinnegar and salt will skin the gold plate, but dont know how to go from there on.

Hi I am computer building hard drive and CPU memory, I have see lot of gold parallel. I didn't know how to keep all scrap mother boards. I threw away because there was gold chips inside all installations motherboard. Now I see what you have show here to keep it gold recycled. I need to know how to using liquid remove green board and sort out the gold. How long it take process liquid melt fiber to see gold came out at last. Wow I was lucky save all one in box.
