See the NEW build come together Trans Am Worldwide's first ever Gold 455 Super Duty Trans Am and it's accompanying custom Trans Am Motorcycle. transamworldwi... Directed/Filmed/Edited by Ash von Chamier ( www.roughcutpro... )
Although I like original gold Transam, I must say that it's indeed sad to see the amount of dislikes on this video. They've converted the modern Transam in remembererence and tribute to their father!!!! And for even family to come together for a project BEYOND FAMILY TIME during the holidays is THE REAL IMPORTANT MOMENTS!!! It came out pretty well guys!!! Job well done!!!! 👏❤🙌👍😃😀
From what I understand they mixed the Camaro beafy body style with the old school camaro and totally Bitched out the back end, I love them keeping the hood bird though.
Me to. I love those aftermarket F- Body, 7T7 Trans Am's, problem is, I've NEVER see even ONE on the road. Better yet would love to drive one! I wanna say they made from the Camaro body, around 2011-2013!?!?!?
This was a random recommended video. And it's amazing that it showed up. My first vehicle was a 77 Trans Am 6.6L Y82 car that sat in a neighbor's yard under a tree. I worked out a deal when I was 13 that I would cut his grass and edge the curb, driveway, and walkway every week during spring and summer and once a month during fall and winter until I was 17 and he would give me the car. The only thing wrong with it was the engine had a blown head gasket. So after school I was reading Chilton and Mitchell service manuals to learn how to pull the heads. When I started driving my first job was at my local GM dealership as a line technician. I told many techs about my car and nobody believed the story. Until! I turned 17 and I was handed the keys and the original bill of sale and registration for the car. I immediately pulled the heads off and went to a machine shop owned by a friend of the family. I then apprenticed with him for a few months to pay for the valve job and other machine work and a head gasket set. I put my engine back together and by that time it needed a master cylinder, and wheel cylinders. So I took the reliable Nissan Maxima i had and sold it to buy what I needed. Over that weekend I fixed the brakes, and bleed the brake system. Bought 4 new tires and a new battery. Monday I skipped school and detailed my T/A and Tuesday was the most popular kid in school. When I left school to go to the dealership I pulled up to the service writers desk and cleared the 400's throat. I TOLD YOU I HAD A TRANS AM! The owner was in shock. I guess he thought I was a fool and offered me $2,000 for the car. I told him that "nothing less than blood sweat and tears would ever buy this car". And I have 5 minutes to get clocked in so I need to go park it. He said if you're not going to sell me the car then I'm going to fire you and you'll fail automotive tech for the year. I told him that is fine. See I am actually a really good student and I had enough credits at the beginning of the year to graduate with honors. So I quit, and you'll never own this car. I drove back to school and told my instructor what had happened. He passed me with 100 anyways despite the rule if you get fired or quit you automatically fail. I kept my car and in original condition until 2009 when a uninsured driver t-boned me going to a shop to have his car looked at because he had no brakes. The driver never paid a dime for that. All I could do is have his license suspended until he pays me. The worst part is that my car was valued at $1100. That's it. But since he has shown no remorse for destroying my car even if he comes up with the money I'm not releasing his license for a penny less than 20k. I understand the sentimental value of a vehicle like this family. I hope they either have their fathers T/A or find it one day.
My favorite car of all time is the Pontiac Trans Am. As a kid I remember the Trans Am being the first car to spark excitement in my seven year old imagination then only to be fueled by Knight rider and the Bandit. The day Pontiac died it broke my heart. I still haven't caught that elusive phoenix yet but my passion is stronger than ever and soon I will have one to call my own. I love the passion and dedication Trans Am Depot have for this iconic machine. The story of his dad's Trans Am choked me up. Thank you for keeping it alive.
Good job gentleman. Your father would be proud of your passion and commitment to honoring his legacy. Stunning cars and good people. Thank you for sharing.
19:39 "I can guaruntee there are 2 things you would find when you sat in my dads car, a pack of tictacs and a 1611 King James Bible." Amazing quote. what a tribute. what a car.
Not sure if anyone noticed he said they milked a 1100 cows a day. That is a big dairy farm and that's twice a day seven days a week. My hats off to who ever worked that farm. To anyone who has anything bad to say about these guys must not have any idea what kind of work it take to run a farm that size. I know from personal experience what it takes but on a much smaller level. My first car was a 78 Firebird no motor no transmission and my 2and car was a 78 Trans Am. So I understand how these guys feel about the Trans Am and other Pontiac cars. I would give anything for them to take my 2018 2SS 1le and turn it in to a worldwide Trans Am. The only thing stopping me is the small fee they charge to make dreams come true. Lol. I can't complain the good lord has aloud me to get up every morning and work hard for what I do have and I am very grateful. I wish these guys all the luck in the world and I hope that people that can afford these keep buying them I love that they have kept the Trans Am dream alive.
If it's a Knight Rider edition it's gotta be BLACK with the red light across the front! Silver? Get the F out of here with that! Sure silver would be an amazing color for a TA heck any color on a TA is gonna look good but Knight Rider HAS to be BLACK!
In 1979 I finally started making enough money to buy a car I wanted. So I found a 76 Vette from a dealer near my house. We agreed but the Vette needed motor mounts. Upon returning to sign the deal the Vette was gone. The dealer told me a Lady came in, had to have it , and paid the window sticker price. Then I saw it. A Myan red 78 Trans Am. Black velour interior, automatic. Hood decal delete. What a nice car. It had a Pioneer stereo system with cassette. The car handled so nice for its size, Radial Tuned Suspension. All I did was remove the resonator for some added grunt. Boy would I love to have the new 455 Super Duty Trans Am. What a great job I love it.
THIS IS EVERYTHING! I’m at a loss for words. I live in Japan. I’ve seen a lot of cars in my days on this planet. I’ve seen good builds, bad builds, USDM, JDM,, German builds, Italian supercars, restoration projects and what not, but I’ve finally been caught off guard. I am going to share this video. I hope I have an opportunity to see this car some day.. WOW! The last thing I will say is this, and I can’t believe I’m actually going to post this. I can’t believe this thought is even my head. ( OH GAWD HERE IT COMES ). This is how you make America great again.
SpinRush RC Right on , when you have to check back America from it’s “ Roots “ to Bring back Something that needs to be in place from such a long time.
The Name,The Heritage, The Future of Trans Am and G.T.O couldn't have ended up with a better group of guys that actually care and appreciate what the Trans Am name stands for...And the quality of automobile produced by these guy's hands down there's no one able or capable to hold a candle to these guy's... Awesome Ride...
What a great idea, interpreting what a Trans Am might look like if Pontiac were still producing cars. If you're a Pontiac enthusiast it must be great to be able to see the heritage continue. My dad was a Pontiac man so I hate it that the division was shuttered, but it still lives. Great job.
If I had the money, I would definitely own one of these works of art. You can just see the passion that goes in each vehicle, it's a love that a lot of Automotive companies have lost.
Never forget the day my dad brought home his dark red 80 trans am. Worse day ever when i was forced to sell it. These cars are amazing. Hopefully one day I'll have another.
My dad had an original 78 trans am in Y88 solar gold with the w72 6.6 Pontiac 400 with an automatic in it. He kept that car longer than any other car hes ever owned. Right around 15 years. I wish he wouldn't have sold it. I tried so hard to get him to hold onto it, but he said he couldn't afford to restore it like he wanted. I'd love to be able to get him a fully restored 78 just like he had, or one of these new ones as they are absolutely incredible. My grandfather worked at a Pontiac dealership his entire life, so my family always had Pontiacs when I was growing up. They made a bad mistake getting rid of them. GM wouldn't be able to make enough new trans ams to keep on the lot nowadays.
I’m restoring a ‘77 Y82 in my garage at my house Your shop would be a dream come true to have. I’ve owned around 20 trans ams and was even lucky enough to have my 10th anniversary car made into a Johnny Lightning car. My ‘72 column shift trans am made it in HPP magazine. Great to see your family’s passion for these cars . I’m mid 50’s and it never goes away.
That 78 gold Trans Am is identical to the one I bought back in 79! I saw it at a Dodge dealership used it had six thousand miles on it It had the 400 TA Pontiac motor it cost me my first and only night in jail for street racing!😂
My dad grew up with this car. It would be amazing if I could buy him this in the future. That would be the best gift he's ever gotten. I honestly can't wait to get him one.
You guys are absolute geniuses. What a beautiful car. It encompasses everything that the TRANS AM name is!! Im very proud of what you have done! Way to make that PHOENIX FLY INTO THE FUTURE!! KEEP UP THE UNTOUCHABLE WORK!!
My love for the Trans am started when I was 5 years old. I remember the apartment we lived in at the time, I remember looking out the window and seeing for the first time a black n gold TA with the firebird parking on the street. Have owned 3 TA's, 89, 97, and currently own a '02 WS6.
My dad bought me a new 1978 Gold Special Edition Trans Am. I still own it ,my dad loved sporting around town in it sometimes. I have fond memories memories of my
You guys are Masters craftsman. I had 2 TAs growing up. The way you all built a modern design and implemented the character of the original is absolutely perfect. Keep up the incredible work.
What yall have done with the modern trans am is just amazing, I was in love with the bandit trans am then the 455 now this gold trans am the power and torque is just awesome yall keep suprising me !
Appreciate what you guys do with the Trans Am putting them on the map. Make us Native Americans proud of you. Keep up the good work. Pontiac fan for life Love you guys passion for Pontiacs. Very cool👍
I really like the build and the story, I still see these modern versions as a 69 camaro. I cant get past the body shape, there is nothing like an original 2nd gen TA for me. I do love the 69 ta tribuite car though. Some day I hope to see a full custom 70s styled body on one of these. If anyone could bring back pontiac these guys could. Thanks for the video
All you have to do is bring back the most popular in demand models ..for customers that will pay first ,then take it from there . P.s. ...don’t get lazy and start putting out garbage 🗑 cars 🚗
This is by far the best build I have ever seen. My dad loves Trans AM's he use to have 3 of them untill a drunk driver in a big truck took all 3 of them out in one night. By slamming in to the back of one of them and sending them in to one another. But one day I will buy him one of your cars and he can enjoy driving the Trans.
I have been watching trans am depot for years now but appreciate him more than ever after watching this video! Hands down one of my top 5 favorite cars out there! Come on lottery!
More important than just the car, it's the story and what it means. The memories and sharing a passion among three generations. The love that becomes a physical object in a form of art and function. Incredible machines and a great story.
My dad had a late 70s Gold trans-am, and would always talk about how it was like a reverse of the Smokey and the Bandit car. He passed away when I was 17. I also remember first seeing these body kits when I was 13 or 14 (I’m 25 now), and always thought “I’m gonna get one of these some day just like my dad”. I loved this video, great work!
0:40.........For plenty of power...... when you need it the most [Car just strolls by the camera] Marketing 101 was blatantly ignored in this old commercial.
My uncle had a trans am. I loved when he activated the turbo boost. I would love to one day owned a trans am like this. Truly a beautiful car. Keep up the good work fellas. What a great dad, you guys had. Faith, family and fast cars.
I think it's awesome that you're doing this with your son. Reminds me of when my Dad and I used to work on our '78 Trans Am together. I really miss him today and wish we could still share moments like that.
Thanks for keeping the Firebird alive! The Super Duty is perfect, looking like it came from the factory, which is hard to do, and this gold Trans Am is incredible. I've watched your Firebird conversions get better over the years, and I'm blown away by this latest kit, though the Bandit is droolworthy as well. Keep up the great work!
Your dad is with you every time you get behind the wheel and he’s enjoying the ride even more than you. I check in from time to time to see what you’ve been up to. I love the gold! What an amazing work of art. Thank you for keeping Pontiac alive!
Great tribute to your dad, he would love what you've done. Car and bike are definitely every speed freaks dream. God Bless You and your family, plus All those that helped with you bring the vision to life.
People are amazed by these new Camaros and hellcats and chargers and stuff this car I pretty much think it would top all them and then some this is a real true car to show off in.
Car looks sick guys!! And the whole build with the tribute to your dad makes it even better!! Keep up the great work!! Hopefully to own a all Black one!!
Guys you have todo the 3rd gen birds 1982 to 92 I will say this much guys your dad had great taste in cars iam sure he's driving in heaven great video brought tears great car great video
Remake the 79-81 T/A guys with hidden headlights like they originally had but cut because too expensive.Black tail could be a giant bird useing left and right lens as the wings.Great job keeping these cool cars alive !
Your Love for your family as a first Love makes your love of Trans And truely American and blessed by God.Thankyou so much for sharing your love of family and Trans Am with the world.Awesome tribute to your Dad.And Son.
They _really_ didn't want to but the numbers pushed them. As with anything made now, everything has to pander to Chinese audiences. What did they buy most of over there? Buick... for some reason. So by technicality Pontiac (and Saturn) had to be dropped after filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The Birds My Word never should have shut it down. They should have made better cars. Look at what they did in the fifties Thru the seventies and look at the products afterwards. The best looking thing was that solstice. Still looks good if you can find one. Other than that they were kinda sad. Shame on the general.
I am absolutely speechless! I've always been a fan of the Trans Am and what you guys have done. To bring the TA into the future like that amazing one day one day I will own one of those beautiful machines! And I'm sure your guys is pops is looking down with a big smile on his face and I'm sure you're right he is claiming that to be his Trans Am haha but you guys did make it in honor of him. Grate work guys all the T.A ive seen you guys do all have been absolutely beautiful.
I had the pleasure of admiring this Masterpiece at the LA auto show 2019 ! The craftsmanship on every square inch or this car was impeccable ! Especially the execution of art on the carbon fiber hood ! After a short but interesting conversation with Tod, I asked him what do you call this color ? He replied that it had not yet been named . So I thought for a second then suggested , How about Phoenix Gold !? He looked at me and smiled . It seemed appropriate, This stunning Pontiac T/A rising from the ashes after being terminated by GM..
