People saying that GM should of done a car like this. Maybe, but GM don't let anything beat the Corvette. Always been that way. Pontiac got over on them a few times, Buick Grand national. Pontiac should be back. Those cars are in my memory. According to the marketing neuroscience, nostalgia is one of the reason humans buy things. But more, it was an American pride!
In order for this car to return, they need to make it as a separate car from the camero, and have a good replacement for the ls6, it would need a engine that’s bigger than a 454ci
How close is the chassis of the New 70 Chevelle to the original 1970 Chevelle? If they are compatible, the new chassis, drivetrain, powerplant, etc., would make an awesome restomod attached to an original 1970 Chevelle. The very best of both worlds.
This is an absolutely gorgeous piece of art. However, I would stand in line and lose my freaking mind for second-gen Camaro version. Complete with the RS options.
My first car was a 1978 Trans Am. My honey just bought me a 2024 C8 Corvette for my retirement. I would love to see this beautiful machine in my garage parked next to my C8. Can you even imagine? 😅
