Your a little ruff with grabbing stuff, especially slinging those coins around like that with those paper clip flips. Those paper clips could scratch the other coins, so becareful.
Great Video, I am a coin collector and I was salivating at his collection! You are right, stacking silver and gold for your daughter. You are a great father for that. MY best by was a Jade Bracelet with 24 K clasp for a dollar! I resold it for $300.00 was worth more but that is what I got for it.
Perhaps a bit…but it sounded as if he was planning to make a larger bullion purchase…for which he can buy a larger single bar and most likely could save massively due to the lower premiums. The smaller denominations of precious metals generally command higher premiums, which amounts to greater percentage out of pocket costs by scale.
Your comments about people with pensions are pretty telling. I paid into my pension system over the course of 34 years. My 403-B was funded SOLELY by ME. I planned for my retirement so I don’t have to drive all over looking for bargains. But I suppose as a hobby it does look like fun. My one my hobbies is burying worthless foreign coins in the park and watching scavengers dig them up.
I don't think people from congress or the senate should get the pensions they recieve, it's ridiculous . My 401 k is funded solely by me and I'll be lucky if there is anything left by the time I can withdrawal
@@Cashcowflipper I agree. You have to wonder if it’s really about public service. Most legislators are already wealthy. Keep saving. I’m 68, healthy and fortunate that my kids are independent and successful. That’s a BIG saving right there. My son could’ve ended up on my basement couch playing video games. Instead, he’s a principal engineer designing the chips that those games need. 👍
Yea there are some great costume pieces out there. Last year I got a hobe set at a yard sale for .25 cents it sold For 387.00 , before I started filming 😫
Sigh. More uninformed nonsense about pensions. No one just gets a pension. Everyone pays into it. I pay 10% of my salary, more than this guys 5%, and I have a 401k I pay into to boot. I go without now so I can enjoy my retirement when it comes. Also pay for my medical. Maybe he should look into why these pension funds are "unfunded liabilities." The workers all pay in. It's the employers (state, towns, municipalities) raiding the pension funds, and not paying it back, that has left them "unfunded." Wonder how he'd feel about someone taking loans from his 401K and then not paying back into it and then the public workers of the country saying "we should just do away with 401Ks!" Because that's the argument he's making, unknowingly or not.
That’s an awesome amount of silver that he had. I have been buying a little silver incase the dollar goes by, by. I want to find some gold too. Were those coins one ounce?
Yes, they were 1 ounce bullion coins . you really have to be careful buying there are a lot of counterfeits out there, those were good ones , but the price is at a premium so it's hard to hedge your money on bullion because of the premiums, that's why I stick to buying the regular issue silver coins
