Right, Germany made a ton of fouls and didn’t get enough yellow cards. Kroos should’ve been sent off. As for the handball, Fullkrug was offside so it wouldn’t have counted anyway.
Normally I'd agree with you, but the officiating on the pitch has been very good. You could argue there have been some slight inconsistencies, and VAR could have interceded more, but there's been no terrible decisions, IMHO.
Guys i think we can all agree...Regardless of who you thought deserved to win, non calls and refereeing incompetence of that level, (Especially In 2024) Should Not Be Allowed Or Happening Period. Guys They Didnt Even Review It, Just Understand The Idiocy Being Allowed At This Level Of Professional Sport.
Brother dont pull shit out of your ass. They ofc reviewed It and saw the prior to cucus handball, fulkrug was either offside or controlled the ball with the arm himself
Kind of disappointed he didn’t include his reaction to the Kroos challenge on Pedri. I thought it was absolutely ridiculous how he wasn’t carded as it could’ve been a big point in the game. Kroos is too much a veteran to not know what he was doing there. Completely took out one of the 3 midfielders who have been probably the most solid midfield group there so far
Penalty in my opinion. His arm isn't that far out but the shot looks goal bound and his arm prevented us from seeing whether or not that could've been a goal. You know full well that's a penalty in the Premier League if it's for City, Liverpool, United or Arsenal.
Not for Liverpool mate 😅 but those other ones you listed yeah. You must be forgetting the Jackson handball, and especially the odegaard handball this season that the PGMOL admitted was a handball and the ref wasn’t even sent to the monitor. Liverpool aren’t getting those calls anymore. That’s a thing of the past.
@@ElJaztins If he would have been offside or played the hand with the ball Spain would have received a freekick but they did not. There is no advantage rule in such a situation. I don't get why people talk about offside then. The referee simply didn't give the handball.
@davinnicode and if the referee were wrong, the VAR would have corrected him. But they didn't. The referee is trash; that doesn't change the fact that the "penalty" wasn't a penalty. VAR checks all potential penalties. If they didn't call the referee to check the play, it means they didn't feel the need to change the decision on the field.
I don’t care who “deserved” to win, all I wanted was for Spain to advance cus they’re the only team that is enjoyable to watch. Also, Taylor’s refereeing is…interesting (to put it mildly).
so how are you explaining Kroos dodging a red card and 6 minutes of overtime in the 120th minute? I have literally never seen that happen ever. They did everything they could to keep Germany in the tournament but they were too shit to take advantage of a corrupt system
No way people are annoyed about that not being a penalty but then complained about the one vs Denmark??!!! The one against Denmark the guy put his hand away out high up and the Spain one his arm was by his side and he pulled it in.
Nah not giving him Yellow for first foul is totally fine. However, should've given a Yellow on the second Foul, yes. Taylor totally lost control of the Game because he didn't book Kroos. I'd like to say to myself if I ever give out more than 6 Yellow Cards I've lost control of the Game and you saw that.
As a German, if I ignore my bias, I can see that handball being a 50/50 - some refs'd give it, some wouldn't. Both teams got some favorable and some unfavorable decisions by the ref, he wasn't good, but I don't think one side necessarily had it much worse. That game could have gone either way regardless. Personally I think we were better especially after Spain's first goal, but unfortunately we just weren't clinical enough in front of goal. Absolute tragedy to go out like this, but everyone here is proud of our boys and the trainers, if this is what they can do in 9 months let's keep improving. Hyped for the future.
Can't help but dream of what a banger final this would have been tho, both teams have so far been the best at this tournament. Oh and maybe France will thank us for taking Le Normand, Carvajal and Morata off for their semi's if they manage to win 😁
Game could have gone either way. English referee terrible as alway. Germany seems to back amongst the big boys however they desperately need a clinical striker up front. It's laughable how many chances they waste in every game.
Best reaction on the internet today was Spaniards complaining about Kroos receiving the Madrid referee treatment. You simply can't make this up. So fickle.
Robbery? Kroos robbed Pedri of having a chance to play the game, tried to rob Yamal of his ankle and then committed another 5 fouls before he did get a yellow at last. But it’s a robbery cause fullkrug handballs and is offside before the ball hits cucurellas hand with absolutely no time retract from an already natural position… woher kommst du?
