A Cattle Egret, in full breeding plumage and a Little Egret taking its time to subdue and consume a valiant, but inevitably doomed eel, in this video. Cattle Egrets are still a rare sight on this side of the River Severn.
Hi, it’s too soon to say as the new fence hasn’t been strung with the electric wiring at the top but I don’t think it will be too much of a problem with fairly static birds as the camera focuses beyond them. The posts themselves are a nuisance when tracking a bird walking or swimming as of course it creates gaps in the video.
