Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder (Arcade) All Bosses (No Damage). It is an arcade game released by Sega in 1992. It is the sequel to the original Golden Axe and features the same hack and slash action as its predecessor with new additions and improvements.

@@Vikashar That's not possible. This game was released in 1992, and the movie the voiceclip comes from was released in 1990.

@@Kj16V I think you're the one who got things turned around here. Vikashar thought that that the line was stolen by Raphael in the movie from this game, and I pointed out that that could not be possible, since the game was released in 1992, and the movie the line comes from was released in 1990.

Yeah. :( I really, really miss the old school side-scrolling beat'em-up games like Double Dragon, Golden Axe, Final Fight, TMNT et al. I know there are indie games out there that attempt to capture the same sort of feel, but I dunno... Something always feels missing. It might be linked to the physical presence of standing at an arcade cabinet mashing buttons alongside 2 or 3 other random kids and pumping in quarter after quarter at a particularly tough boss.

Considering Gillius is a Dwarf, he likely long outlived Ax and Tyris. At least now he can reunite with his pals in the afterlife. Does Golden Axe have something akin to Valhalla?

Death Adder seems to use shields for anything but defending himself....he also refuses to give up, such persistence.

You don't see it in this video, but if you try to do a magic attack while the shield is still around, it sucks up the potions and uses them to spit a magic attack at YOU.

I can't believe that Sega never took the chance to port it on the Saturn. True it came in a timeframe where 16 bit consoles weren't powerful enough and 32 bit were still to come but... sad.

It's a shame this game didn't have any Tyris stand-in... I mean, we had an Ax stand-in and Gilius himself, but no one to fill in the role that Tyris had. And Dora the Exploring Centaur doesn't count.

You might want to correct the 5th (edit: and 9th) boss enemy... it's not a Cyclops - if you look closely, it has two eyes. More like an overgrown Orc or smth...
