I said all along before any of this happened that as soon as he talked to Teresa and found out what kind of money she made he suddenly was in love with Teresa when all along before it was Leslie Leslie Leslie now that all this stuff has come out about him was I right what a jerk

It was Leslie all along but then Money happened. Once Theresa told him that she’s done very well as a day trader, he was all in on Theresa 🤑. I hope she gets a prenup 🙄

Yea, Gerry seemed too good to be true. And he never had substance on the show with the women. One thing I found telling was when he learned of Teresa's profession it was interesting how interested he was in that. Now I have learned about the reality of his VERY middlin' work history he was definitely punching above his weight financially should he pair with Teresa - the white collar professional, and that he could get into the lifestyle he craved. He fell in love! With her money. Poor poor Teresa is gullible. Her family better protect her with an iron clad pre-nup. She's about to get fleeced.

Hello Ashley and Mitch, it's always good to hear from you. Well, what a finally. I always sense that Gerry, was too good to be true. He seems like he was putting a facade on the whole time. Leslie, should count her lucky stars that she didn't end up with him. Gerry, turned out not to be so golden after all. Theresa, wanted a tall handsome man, and Gerry wanted a meal ticket. I saw the way his eyes lit up when Theresa,told him what kind of job she did. Apparently, Gerry saw dollars sign. Now, I understand why he didn't choose Leslie. If you ask me,Gerry, doesn't like anyone but himself. First of all, he's a pathological liar, cruel, dishonest and self absorbed. This guy is so transparent, it's a pity these ladies, especially Leslie was fooled by him. Leslie, dodged a big bullet. I wish all the ladies nothing but the best! Thanks for sharing this video!😊😊

Gerry does not wear his heart on his sleeve, he is a narcissist who makes his emotional life the priority in each situation with each contestant(think Ellen). When Leslie rightly calls him out on the incredible BOLDFACED lying he did throughout their interactions he tries to flip it into the victimhood he must present to appear harmless and attractive as a man who feels so deeply that only a mere 12 HOURS later he can walk away unscathed. His tears are FOR HIMSELF. This is someone who is incapable of real empathy and love for a potential partner. When you are kind and aware of the vulnerability this situation requires you ALWAYS protect your potential partners trust, you do not leave them broken and devastated like this. Gerry is crying about his need to make a choice, not about Leslie’s pain. For him to proceed forward with the wedding etc without a backward glance just confirms the fact that he is and always will be a NARCISSIST. Theresa should run. .

I just found your channel and you both are so intuitive and adorable! The Golden Bachelor is nothing I ever thought I'd watch but I signed up for Hulu and decided to start the series while I did laundry and packed for a trip. I was hooked after the first episode. I'm turning 60 next summer so it resonates yet I was cringing through much of it. My wonderful husband passed away in 2009 and I found myself single in my mid 40s wondering how to navigate the dating world. What an education! I've yet to remarry and overall feel content, at peace and lucky to be independent. It took a long time but our kids are grown and leading full, rich lives. I keep an open mind but it's rough out there!

you are right, Gerry was never into Theresa. I don't think he will be faithful to her. I noticed Theresa, still have her heads in the clouds. She's so gullible! I have a feeling she'll get hurt by this man. Speaking my mind. Smh.

If the story told by Carolyn in the gossip papers is true, I have nothing but contempt and dislike for this tainted Golden Bachelor. If it's true as she says that he calculates everything monetarily, ( taking her financial half of 'dinner out' before paying so he can look like the gentleman to the waitress), etc. and having her move to his home and having her change location and job for him, then he's also self-absorbed and all out for only himeself. The worst part is the lies about not having kissed or been with anyone since his wife passed... its seems he hardly waited a month to be involved in a new relationship... where are all these crocodile tears that he sheds on the show for his wife, coming from? Certainly not from a place of sincerity if the 'gossip' is correct.

My Gosh. What ppl dont seem to understand is that Gerry isn't perfect and hind sight is 20/20. After the fantasy suite date with Leslie, I believe he really had picked Leslie... he wasnt lying. However, after his fantasy suite date with Theresa, he had an epiphany and really realized Theresa and him shared the commonality of the heartbreak of being a widow/widower, which is something no one else could ever get unless they've experienced it personally. And as far as Gerry being accused of being a golddigger, that's ridiculous to me. Finances is a HUGE thing. You want someone in life who is responsible, financially and otherwise. All I heard Leslie ever say was that she was on-board to travel the world with Gerry. What? Almost sounded to me she was happy to do it on his dime. Anyone would take that offer up, but he knew Theresa had the means to contribute as well, which is only fair. The other thing i noticed is that Theresa loved him & respected herself so much that she told him she'd be broken, but would ultimately understand, if he picked Leslie because she cared not only about his overall happiness, but also respected herself saying, don't pick me unless youre 1000% sure. Thats called unconditional love, is priceless, and something i never heard Leslie say. Anyway, just my 2 cents.

In the pre-recorded part with Gerry in front of the audience, he "it didn't really go wrong (sounds so patronizing) it was better with someone else".... what a collosal jerk!! Yes, GET OFF THE STAGE!! He's an embarassment. Theresa? She started in on Gerry on their dinner date with "day trading" and, imo, divulged her whole net worth in the Fantasy suite, then spread her legs to be blunt, knocked boots. I'm off this show, no wedding for me. And, I've never watch the Bachelor shows and never will. Sorry, Im 71, divorced and married 18 years, and watching this Gerry on this show totally repulsed me. And, I want to apologize to all you young people out there. The producers should have picked someone else for the show. Turner was a full on narcissist and had no moral character or decency, and I hate it that you young people didn't see someone (like my husband), someone you could look up to. My husband saw me 18 years ago after my divorces. I was honest, totally with him and explained everything. By the time I met him, I knew exactly what I wanted and didn't want, at least as best as any of us can know. And, we married a year later. I hope Leslie knows, too, now. Words are only words. Action is all that counts. But, if Gerry guy told her he was poposing to her, well, there is no excuse at all for him. No wonder she was writing her vows. My (unsolicited) advice to the young or old---- Do not date someone or get involved if he is dating another gal. Most of us don't and wouldn't. Ask penetrating questions in the beginning. Gerry doesn't sound like he had financial success at his age like my husband did. My husband was an ExxonMobil engineer. But find somebody who has a stable work history. He doesn't have to be an engineer or attorney or a doctor. Gerry didn't have that as far as I could tell. My husband NEVER would have asked me to pay for his mortgage either! By then, his home would have been paid for. Capische? Not Gerry, though. List your values and beliefs that are very important to you---like belief in God, Integrity, Dependability, etc. And, good luck and God bless all you young people!!

I know he has alot in common with Theresa but it didnt seem to make a major difference in the other episodes. But the day trader job that she has, did seem to impress him. He also described her as a the safe option. Doesnt sound like a great description to me.

I hope Theresa gets a prenup. There's a reason he's rushing her into marriage. I doubt she blew him away in the fantasy suite. He just found out she's successful & has money.

Theresa obviously doesn't know what "knock boots" means. It doesn't mean that you knock his boots off. She's apparently thinking of rocks. One clip that no one seems to be replaying is the one of surprise on Gerry's face when he discovered that Theresa was a day trader. His whole demeanor changed. Since he retired at 55 and Toni worked until she was 65, he already had a taste of living off a woman, instead of earning a living himself. I don't care what kind of job a man has. He has to pull his weight financially in the marriage.

Look, you guys, it's really obvious Theresa KNEW she was going to be proposed to at the point of meeting his daughters. It wasn't fair to bring Leslie in at that point. It's obvious to me the daughters all knew who he had picked. Leslie's interaction was heartfelt. She is HEARTFELT and yes, he is a sh---ty guy. Leslie saying she was 100% certain she was his girl is really saying he said a LOT of things to her, including I am marrying YOU. She wouldn't have picked out a dress and started writing her vows, if she hadn't been convinced by him she was going to get the ring. Gerry is such a bad man, a real NARCISSIST, you know? Love bombing, lying, it's all about him crap, the crocodile tears---all signs of narcissism. And yet, when Leslie was confronting him about the lying in her room, he was SO COLD---no tears there. You see, his tears are always about himself. Honestly, I think he picked Theresa for her financial stability, but it was Leslie who appealed to his athletic and adventurous side and to his heart. Theresa, no doubt, in the suite, divulged ALL her net worth to lure him to her. SHE is the one who ended up being the most desperate, in my view, especially after she knew the details of Gerry's lying about his past. She better have an air-tight pre-nuptial because Gerry is wanting to RUSH this wedding ceremony in 5 short ridiculous weeks. She may also regret marrying him, if she sees him eyeing beautiful Italian girls, too. Yikes, 5 weeks is not nearly long enough. Their excuse of we're old and we have to do this? That's poppycock.

My gut says in the fantasy suite without cameras rolling, Theresa told him how much money she’s worth. To a cheapskate guy… that’s true love! Sad, but true. Then a rushed wedding?… PRENUP THERESA!

I stoped watching after a couple of episodes, there was something about Gerry I found off putting. My girlfriend says he talks like Warren Jeffs. 😮 I knew he would pick Teresa because she’s a pick me girl (and a wealthy widow) while Leslie is more independent and is closer to her family.

He chose the woman who was best in bed and the woman who had the best track record in relationships. He made a wise choice I think

I didnt watch the show....however you can always tell how a man feels by how he looks at a women......he is more attracted to leslie than theresa ...he made a decision based on something else......money ??? Lifestyle? Dont know......

I can’t believe people reviewing this series are so naive (or they are on ABC’s payroll) that they can’t see how things changed when Gerry learned about Teresa’s job and stock portfolio. His attitude about money is weird all through. He is a skinflint when it comes to money and he shows his lack of generosity of spirit and a materialistic view of life, Gerry betrays himself with the penny-pinching moves. He was hiding it at first but the detail provided by the “old girlfriends” tells the tale. Gerry pretends to be the “great soul being” but that changed when he moved in with the old girlfriend “Carolyn”. I fear Theresa is in for a rude awakening after she marries him.

Based on what Gerry's ex girlfriend said...it feels more like he fell in love with Leslie, but SETTLED for Theresa because of her financial savviness. He's getting married quickly so she doesn't find out about his past stingyness, and micromanagement, until after their marriage. I'll bet he'll want to keep his finances seperate, so they'll each pay 50% of their new bills. In all his recent interviews he never answers real questions, but keeps stating "the past is irrelevant and just wants to move forward into his new future". Let's face it...Gerry was paid handsomely for being the 1st golden bachelor and I feel confident he won't want to share that pot. I believe Leslie dodged a bullet.
