Brilliant performance, perfect tabs! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me the opportunity to play it. Golden brown was one of my favorite songs as a child (although i did not have a clue on what the lyrics were about). It still is to this day, thanks again for sharing the tabs. Cheers from Greece!
Samuele not only am I always really impressed with your guitar playing, but also with how professional your tab is! Here you have 3/4 to 7/4 times changes and this is not an easy song to play, or tab! Excellent work on both! ⚡🎵🎸😁
This is an amazing arrangement and performance, you sir are a real pro! I'm struggling a bit with the muting. I'm using a nylon string. I think the thumb pick is a nice touch with steel strings, since making those bass notes hit is really important for this, afaik people don't use thumb picks with classical guitars (or do they?)
Thank you Harrier for your nice comment. I am not a pro, just a guitar enthusiast. I've never played classical guitar, so I wouldn't know about that. You can have a try with the fred kelly bumblee bee thumbpick, it is very soft and you can adjust the angle of the string attack.
Golden brown, texture like sun Lays me down, with my mind she runs Throughout the night No need to fight Never a frown with golden brown Every time just like the last On her ship tied to the mast To distant lands Takes both my hands Never a frown with golden brown Golden brown, finer temptress Through the ages she's heading west From far away Stays for a day Never a frown with golden brown Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown With golden brown (with golden brown), with golden brown Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown With golden brown (with golden brown), with golden brown Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown With golden brown (with golden brown), with golden brown Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown With golden brown (with golden brown), with golden brown
Tobitt. Thank you for the nice comment. I have hundreds of guitar magazines that I collected when I was a teenager in the 1990s. There is a lot of material to draw from. Sometimes I start by ear, but I do a lot of trial and error, I'm not as practiced as I was in the 90s and I also lost my hair 🙂
Thank you Samuele! I play the intro the same way but was always stuck on everything else. Thanks again for taking the time to produce this. Awesome job.
Hi there, I have gone onto your page to purchase the tabs for your version/original version. I put in my card details and followed the instructions, I pushed the pay button and it said processing in a grey box. Nothing has come, it would not come off processing. Can you please help me. Thanks Philip Carter.
Hi Philip try reading these link pages: ➡customers.gumroad.com/article/203-why-did-my-payment-fail ➡customers.gumroad.com/article/191-a-guide-to-buying-on-gumroad. If you don't find the answer, send me an email: ➡samucorona@gmail.com If I can I will try to help you. Thank you. Samuele
I always play this song on the piano so I thought how hard would it be to play on the guitar, and what a stupid thought lol. Maybe it is simple for people who have played the guitar for a decade but I am not there yet. I hope to be able to play this in a year
Thank you for watching the video! 😄 Switching from piano to guitar can seem challenging at first, but with some practice, it gets easier. Every instrument has its own quirks, but with the right determination and patience, I’m sure you'll be able to master the guitar too. Keep playing and don't give up! 🎸🎹
wow!!! The best. One humble suggestion; some of the lead part appears isolated and slows it down. All the others are perfect. 2:12 is great but tends to halt the tempo somewhat, it needs reverb or something, just the hammer-ons bit I mean. The rest is BRILLIANT. You are so frigging talented.
@@SamueleCorona75 A month later and I keep coming back to watch/listen to this one. I've got a list of things I want to learn and haven't got round to this yet, but I just love listening to it and watching you play it.
Michael, Thank you for the comment. You're referring to someone who edited a video of Brubeck pretending to play Golden Brown but he never actually wrote Golden Brown, of course 😎👍🎸🎸
Cheers ... just loved the Dave Brubeck piece ... great job. I'm a big Stranglers fan ... first saw them at Durham University students union about 77...thought they were a breath if fresh air and so talented. Your piece compliments their talents perfectly. Best of luck in all you do.
