This is the very first video to feature completely animated scenery, backgrounds, and portraits. Exactly four years after creating this channel, it seems that my dream of bringing the Göktürks back to life is finally coming true. Rest assured that there is a long way to go, and that the visual quality will improve even further. Hope you like the results.

I dont like it because i started to think you are getting paid by a 3rd party to purposely demonstrate the Turkic people as Asian people. Listen to me carefully moron, Proto Turks are Caucasians and they have existed before the times of Akkaddians, this was described in their tablets where they referred to Turukkaeans. So if you dont know the real history DO NOT create misleading stupid videos. Even Genghis Khan is said to have blue eyes. The entire Mongolian people was a mixture of Turks and Chinese. That’s my 2 cents for you. Do your search better OR stop making videos.

In the historical narrative related to the Ashina Empire, many incidents of conflicts between the Ashina dynasty and other Turkish peoples, such as: Tiele, Huns, Kyrgyz, Toguz-Guz, and others can be found in historical records and ancient inscriptions. So, from the surface of the historical narrative, it appears as if they were separate peoples from each other. Such as the nature of the conflicts on the European continent in the Middle Ages between the peoples of the Goths, the Franks, the Lombards, the Normans, and others, so that they appear as if they were separate peoples from each other, and in reality they were one German people.

The first genetic analysis on the Empress Ashina in 2023 by Xiaoming Yang et al. found nearly exclusively Ancient Northeast Asian ancestry (97,7%) next to minor West-Eurasian components (2,3%), and no Chinese ("Yellow River") admixture. The research team of the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology found that Emperor Wu of Zhou had the closest genetic relationship with the Khitans, the Heishui Mohe people, the Daur people, and the Mongols. They estimated that 60% of Emperor Wu’s ancestry came from the Northeast Asian population in the Heilongjiang River basin, and 30% came from the population in the Yellow River basin.
@神可汗
@神可汗 3 месяца назад
Professor Wang Chuanchao worked with the Fudan University team to extract, sequence and analyze the genome of the Turkic Queen Ashina. The study showed that the mitochondrial DNA of Queen Ashina belonged to the F1d* haplotype. Compared with the published data of Eurasian populations, the earlier ancient samples were found in Northeast Asia during the early Neolithic period, and in modern times, they were mainly found in the Hezhe, Xinjiang Kyrgyz, Tibetan, Han, and Southeast Asian populations in Northeast China. From the whole genome, Queen Ashina mainly has Northeast Asian ancestry, which infers that the Turkic Ashina tribe may have originated in Northeast Asia, that is, the area from the Heilongjiang River Basin to Lake Baikal and the eastern part of the Mongolian Plateau today.
@神可汗
@神可汗 3 месяца назад
The biggest breakthrough of Wen Shaoqing's team's research this time is to clarify the ancestry of the Ashina tribe. Wen Shaoqing told The Paper: "From the data we calculated, it is clear that the Turkic Ashina tribe originated in Northeast Asia of Eurasia, that is, the area from Northeast China to Lake Baikal in Russia, which denies the western origin theory and multiple origin theory of Eurasia." In addition, the Ashina tribe shares more genes with the Tungusic language (one of the three major language families of the Altaic language family) and the Mongolian nomads after the Iron Age, such as the Rouran (one of the ancient nomadic peoples of China), the Xianbei, the Khitan, and the Heishui Mohe (the name of a northeastern tribe in the Tang Dynasty), and has obvious genetic differences with other ancient Turks, showing multiple origins within the Turkic Khanate. Finally, the Turkic Ashina tribe has no obvious influence on modern Turkic peoples, and its genetic contribution is very limited, which once again confirms that Turkic is a cultural transmission model rather than a population expansion model. "

A very interesting episode about the time of the great Taspar Qaghan. The images designed by artificial intelligence are beautiful and attractive and match what is stated in Islamic heritage books about describing the Turks as having beautiful faces and that they are white-skinned like the moon. And not as some channels and websites do, which publish pictures of ancient Turkish figures who have long noses like the noses of witches. According to ancient Chinese records, Taspar Qaghan converted to Buddhism and ordered the establishment of a Buddhist temple and the translation of Buddhist religious texts into Turkish. It appears from ancient historical sources and archaeological discoveries that the Buddhist religion enjoyed a certain degree of spread among the Turkish peoples during the sixth century AD, and archaeologists have discovered traces of Buddhist temples and Buddhist religious slogans in the cities, centers and statues of Western Goktürk. Before the Gokturk era, Buddhism spread among the Xiongnu, the Huns, the Tabgach, and others. Ancient Chinese records described Buddhism as a foreign religion that was brought into China by the peoples of the northern steppes to confront Chinese philosophies such as Confucianism and Taoism. As for Turkish writing, according to ancient Chinese records, the method of writing Turkish runes is the same as the Xiongnu writing, and Chinese records in the sixth century mention the existence of a special writing for the Turks. As we mentioned previously, Taspar Qaghan ordered the translation of Buddhist texts into the Turkish language. It is clear from the forms of Buddhism in Tibet and Mongolia today that ancient Buddhism adapted to the original religion in the plateaus of Tibet and Mongolia, and this is what we imagine happened during the eras of Ashina, the Huns, and others. As for the kingdoms of Northern Zhou and Northern Qi, there is an important historical note that I hope is paid attention to by history buffs who have spoiled history with their superficial analyzes of general Turkish history. The Northern Zhou and Northern Qi dynasties descended from generals who served in Northern Wei. Emperor Wenxuan, founder of the Northern Qi dynasty, is of Han Chinese descent, and his Han Chinese clan was integrated into the Xianbei Confederation. While Emperor Xiaomin, the founder of the Northern Zhou dynasty, is of Xiongnu origin, his Yuwen clan of Xiongnu was incorporated into the Xianbei Confederation. Chinese records confirm that the language of the Yuwen Xiongnu is completely different from the Xianbei, and their culture is also different from the Xianbei. The tribal unions in the Eurasian steppe, or those influenced by steppe culture, are complex, intertwined, and subject to many and varied factors, and it is not as naive people imagine that the unions of these tribes descend from the same father and mother, or descend from the same tribe. This naive perception is not true at all.

"History of the Suí dinasty", chapter 84: The superiority of the Göktürks is in their cavalry and archers. When they are in a winning position, they advance with fury; but when danger comes, they withdraw with the speed of the wind, and disappear like lightning, without preserving order. Bows and arrows serve them as claws and fangs. Helmet and cuirass are their usual attire. Their detachments do not go in order, their camps do not stand still. They stop wherever they find grass and water; rams and horses provide food for their army. If they win, they stop and seek the wealth of the enemy; if they are defeated, they withdraw without any shame. They do not burden themselves with night duty, nor do they keep watch during the day; they do not waste their strength in building fortifications, or in storing provisions. But when Chinese soldiers go to war, they [Göktürks] behave very differently. If the Chinese enter the battle with the Göktürks, they [Chinese] rarely win. If we begin to imitate them now, if we adapt to their means, they will not be able to overcome us, and they will not attack us again. -Emperor Yang of Suí

This is a brilliant and beautiful historic document about GokTurk Khaganate. It would be pleasant if I could add a few facts from Chinese perspective. China is a traditional unified empire but with three major breakdown in previous 2,000 years. Qin Shiwang (秦始皇) uified China in 221 BCE. Qin (秦)Dynasty (221~207 BCE) was succeeded by Han (汉)Dynasty (206 BCE~220 CE). At 220 CE, no one was capable of imagining that China was facing the first major breakdown almost 400 years long except a short period of unification of Jin (晋) Dynasty. However, the barbarians, who occupied northern China, were totally assimilated by the Chinese. The reason is very simple: when nomads settled down, they had to accept the advanced farming skill accompanied with relevant Chinese civilization such as the Chinese calendar about when to sow and when to reap. It goes without saying that only the Chinese have a written system that affords complicated philosophy, literature, history, religion etc. Northern Wei (386~534 CE) was founded by Xianbei (Tuoba). Nevertheless, Xiaowen Di (孝文帝,reign from 471~477 CE) took a decisive measure to speed up sinicization: To speak the Chinese only in the court, to Chang Tuoba to Yuan (a Chinese surname), move the whole court to Luo’yang ( a Chinese important city as Chang’an) etc. Finally, the Hun, Xianbei etc had become the Chinese. Northern Wei splitted into Eastern Wei (534~550 CE),which was succeeded by Northern Qi (550~577 CE); and Western Wei (535~556 CE), which was succeeded by Northern Zhou (557~581 CE). Then Northern Zhou ended Northern Qi, and unified Northern China. Unfortunately, Zhou Wudi (周武帝,543~578 CE) died too early. Northern Zhou was succeeded by Sui Dynasty (581~618 CE), which unified the whole China proper. Sui Dynasty was succeeded by Tang Dynasty (618~907 CE). It may be unpleasant to Turks for introducing Changsun Sheng (长孙晟,552~609 CE), forget about the fact he is a sinicized Xianbei, he is a Chinese throughout. In Chinese history, he is an important Grand Counsellor and excellent diplomat in Sui Dynasty. His son Changsun Wuji ( 长孙无忌)was a well-known Prime Counsellor in Tang Dynasty and his daughter the empress of Tang Taizong (Heavenly Khan). Unfortunately, one man’s meat is another man’s poison. The Chinese national hero may be the terminator of GokTurk Khaganate. There is no room here to detail what Changsun Sheng did in history. There is a biography of him in Sui Dynasty official history. Long story in short words, Sheng was an expert in the policy of “divide and rule”: Ally the far against the near (远交近攻)and Weaken the strong while support the weak (离强合弱). Sheng was an expert of Turks’ issue as well. He was sent to GokTurk Khagaanate with three princesses thrice on a diplomatic mission for marriage. Once he stayed in Khan Ahisna’Tent for a year, having good relations with many nobles, collecting a great amount of information regarding Turks. However, do not mistake him as a Confucius’ style scholar, he was a warrior himself, an excellent horseman as well as first-class archer. Once he went out hunting with Ahisna and entourage. Khan saw two vultures grabbing meat in the sky and gave Sheng two arrows. Sheng shot two eagles with one arrow and returned remained one to Khan. Ahisna was more than satisfied and he ordered the nobles to learn the skill from Sheng. Even today almost every Chinese knew the proverb “one arrow two eagles”( 一箭双雕). When GokTurk Khaganate finally splitted into Eastern and Western Turks, Eastern Turks chose to stay in China and had become a part of the Chinese. Nevertheless, the story of Turks did not stop here. Maybe a chilly winter morning, Western Turks left their homeland and Eastern Turks brothers and sisters forever. This must be an epic march westward and it will be the beginning of another story. From mid Tang Dynasty, there is no Turks’ record in the Chinese document anymore.

Thank you. It is uncertain if they did or not, but we know from the Second Göktürk Khaganate that the area where the Uyghurs later built Ordu-Baliq, their own capital, had been in use by the Göktürks and probably included fortifications. However, whether the First Göktürk Khaganate also had a fortified capital is not clear. I suggest they did.

Articulated stereotypes of military prowess among non-Han typically took the form of statements such as Li Linfu's remark at court that "non-Han are skilled at fighting and brave" and, from a later eighth- century memorial, "Heaven gave birth to the Four Yi who are all skilled in warfare." Occasionally, different non-Han ethnic groups would be compared with one another, with the politically dominant group at the time asserted to be the most martial, such as a mid-eighth-century statement by a prominent Han frontier general that the Turks were more martial than other non-Han. Non-Han groups were often contrasted favorably with their Han counterparts, the latter being characterized, particularly after the seventh century, as mediocre soldiers or helpless farmers. Ethnic Identity in Tang China (Encounters with Asia) Hardcover - January 2, 2008 by Marc S. Abramson (Author) p.48
@神可汗
@神可汗 3 месяца назад
Li Linfu's original words to the emperor were that civil officials should not be allowed to control military power, as they were not as good at fighting as military generals. It is safer to use non-Han military generals than Han military generals. Non-Han military generals do not belong to any faction in the court, only obey the emperor's orders, and are not likely to betray.

Which Han frontier general said that the Turks were more martial than other non-Han peoples? There is no such article in ancient Chinese books. Pan-Turkists are making up stories again. The Turkic army was never the main force in the war during the Tang Dynasty.
@神可汗
@神可汗 3 месяца назад
Emperor Yang of Sui's article has clearly pointed out that the Turks would not be ashamed to flee, would launch ruthless attacks on unarmed civilians, and would quickly flee when encountering regular troops. It is a group without the spirit of a warrior, and almost never confronts a strong enemy head-on. This is not a manifestation of the martial spirit. In ancient times, the biggest difference between civilization and barbarism was the martial spirit. The Turks robbed and massacred unarmed civilians for most of their history, and they had no sense of honor as warriors. Therefore, there is no mention of the martial spirit of the Turks in ancient Chinese books, and the ancient Chinese would not think that the Turks had any martial spirit, but would think that the Turks were very barbaric and had no sense of honor.

Sir, it would be better if you write the place names at the correct points on the maps. For example, in Roman, Pontus was not referred to the Eastern Black Sea, but to the Western parts of the Black Sea. The discourse that the Eastern Black Sea region is Pontus is a political discourse that emerged in the 20th century. The Eastern Black Sea region was historically called Armenia or Colchis.
