I have tears from laughter, that scene is so hilarious and i love the way they're escaping so they don't go through the pain of hearing another stupid St Olaf story, and Blanche says "is it that late late i'm so tired" gets me everytime and the way Sofia runs kills me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. What a great show that will never be topped and what talented actresses who will never be duplicated no matter what
This scene is like a nutshell of everything great about the show. And the "Men of Blanche's Boudoir" calendar is absolute gold. "I'm surprised you were able to walk in October."
Rose puts down her drink into the middle spot between Blanche's on the left and Dorothy's on the right. When they decide to look at the Christmas tree she comes back to the couch and picks up Blanche's glass (the one on the left) instead of hers.
The behind the scenes clip they showed in the 2003 reunion special with this scene when they were looking at the calendar with the dirty pictures (it was naughty pictures of the staff) and when they were cracking up and couldn't get a straight face. Omg so hilarious.
When this series was screened at my country, I was in a boarding school through to a university. Only now, near retirement, I could watch them back, albeit not complete episodes, and can relate better. Thanks to internet, youtube.
