This editing was sex. THIS IS THE GREATEST EDIT VIDEO I'VE EVER SEEN. I CAMED WHEN I SAW THE G GUNDAM MUSIC MY GAWD THIS WAS INCREDIBLE . BEST VIDEO EVER. UGH I NEED TO WATCH THIS 10 TIMES. THIS WAS A MOVIE .
This intro was really really good imo, I called my gf over to check it out actually. Syncing with the music and dropping the levers in was very Edgar Wright.
Both intros are great. Knee lever was hype while this one was fun and entertaining. The great thing about both of them is that you focused your intros on the main thing of the content of the video, which is something you apply very well. Knee lever vid was my fav but both are great
Between the Fantas, the Fujin III, the Sanjuks and the Knee lever I don't see any real reason to go after any of these super premium levers when between those 4 levers and the modding options available to them you can find a setup that does exactly what you want without paying over $100 for a lever alone. I mean, if you're REALLY into the idea of constantly tinkering with your shit I guess. But the way I see it, most of us K-Lever users have a pretty solid understanding of what we want / like in a lever. I'm still rocking the Fanta III stock grommet / core with old school Panasonic switches I tracked down. I use the lever from everything from Tekken to SF to GG. I can't play on anything else. The Sanjuks is cool too, but I just can't find anything that personally beats out the Fujin in feel for me.
Holy f**king smokes Alex, I been a lurker on the videos for a long time but man all the videos are just straight up great production and for a "simple" lever review I am immensely entertained. On the lever side of things, I actually have gotten the cool bear lever prior to the release of the video as I am in non-EU country in Europe... Getting literally any stick parts is a nightmare... So even paying the premium in the end wouldn't amount to the crazy sum of import duties I would have to pay for anything outside of EU due to shipping costs... All in all... I am satisfied with the cool bear... Out of the box, considering the price though... It is a bit difficult to recommend it further but it can be felt. Thank you again for all these awesome videos, intro an all are ridiculous. P.S Your late night scripts are also awesome, they always get me.
Yeah I heard about the limiting options you have especially when it comes to shipping prices from the USA, RIP. I hope to atleast keep my content consistent since upload schedule is exactly Ideal I put in the effort to be better when I can :)
Your editing just keeps getting better and better 🙏. I have no comment on these two levers, I own a sanjuk v5 and never bothered buying anything after I got my hands on it lol
@@alexnostalgix Where can I get a Sanjuks V5? I’ve always heard of the V5 but so far unable to get one for myself. I have the V6 which is my all time fave along with these listed in priority of usage and favorite 1. Sanjuks V6 lever hands down best lever 2. IST Alpha 49 N lever almost a clone to the Sanjuks V6 3. Fujin V3 lever 4. 309MJ and Help me lever 5. Knee lever underwhelmed I’m a mishima player mostly Great channel liked and subscribed thanks for sharing great content
Golden taeyoung Fanta is the best iteration in my opinion. Vanilla golden feels alright if you play on the looser tension side but the golden fanta fixes the wrong in the og golden lever
As one who bought almost every available part for every configuration of the golden lever available (because im a hopeless collector) ill say this; if you have a particular setup in mind, by all means go for it. Otherwise, getting a bunch of different parts to experiment to find a particular setup you like is going to be a bad time unless you're loaded. Also, fuck brass
Honestly, best video yet. Hope this becomes a trend and you find yourself on a hard stride of both great quality videos and great improvement. also, how does the bearing actuator feel on the golden lever? (compared to the cool bear and the knee aluminum, I guess)
Nice drop on the Sanjuks V5-C at the end. I got mine back during the summer. Any idea why one of the switches would be three times louder than the others? It totally throws me off.
@@alexnostalgix We will wait and see... that aluminum shaft? The custom modded switch with added hinges? The all aluminum housing body? You know you can't resist! Jk, love your videos either way, nobody is expecting you to blow $85 bucks again, but if you do we'll be here! Also loved your drift channel!
First off great content man, I really need help been trying to mod my stick with a step drill bit and it has taken me 4-6 hours to increase the whole size to 35mm, I had to stop and start a lot because it would just get to hot and not cut anymore and then I would have to charge the drill. I wanted to mod my brothers stock also but this lengthy process has put me right off, surely it should not take that long!. can you give please give me some guidance how you do it, what the process is and and how long it took please.
How tf did you get the Golden Lever? I play on hitbox most of the time but I play on K stick too and I remember seeing them sold out everywhere last time I checked lol. That's one thing I love about hitbox is I dont have to deal with lever parts, breaking them in etc etc. With hitbox you just got good old sanwas. Love the videos by the way, such high quality work.
I guess not many people go for the full collar since it was one of the few available. As much as I hate to admit the hitbox is probably more practical choice but moving the lever around for me is very nostalgic, non pun intended lol
@@alexnostalgix hell yah agreed, I completely agree with Daigos viewpoint that hitbox is the future. The thing you have with stick is the fact that you can walk into any arcade and just PLAY, people who play on only hitbox will never be able to do that. I played on hitbox for like a week after years of playing on stick and I knew I would never go back to stick full time. People act like its some type of cheat code, but it definitely has its drawbacks, like playing Mishimas on the right side for instance is much easier on stick imo. Wave dashing with your ring and middle finger takes a ton of practice, and doing things like full circles will have your hands aching like a mf.
@@alexnostalgix small world :) Since you and I here: I have the possibility to buy a used but like new black golden lever for $130 I've never used a Korean lever and don't play 3D fighters at all and not even planning to, but want to try it out how it feels. Some casual SF2, SF3, MVC2 later this year and some arcade beat 'em ups on the Switch. I've used Sanwas only in the past. I was considering the golden for that price (130 includes shipping and tax), but for first timers I've read a $70 Crown CWL-309-New Helpme-ST30 would be a lot better entry point. Any thoughts on this?
I am Switching to Arcade Stick and want to Buy me a K Lever on My Kori Rap V . is there a special size for them ? Or can i Just pick one and it will fit.. Sorry for My English im from Germany ! Btw love this content keep it up brother !!!
Can i use the fujin v3 for my hori real Arcade pro 4kai? And how you Made the lever so silent ? I have the Cwl-309FJ-kms-st35 and the lever is so loud… Also do you think ist necessary to Buy new Arcade Stick too or is it enough to Change the lever + buttons After 5 Years using ?
I wish there were more japanese 'silent' levers other than the silent JLF.. because I personally don't like the clicks.. love watching your content tho!
Question... I tried the Sanwa Silence stick... but I was wondering if there's a way to buy silence switches for a K.stick? I use Crown MJ309 (JPN edition)...
@@alexnostalgix yeah i was thinking it... but watching your videos and how you complain about the screws gets easy "broken" haha i didnt want to try :P
I got to a point that i want to replace my crown 309mj with a golden lever. Its just time to upgrade and never upgrade again only to change parts out of the golden lever for the right setup for all the mishimas since thats all i main
Ive been using a help me 309 default switchs default gormet 35 and does the job been using this for a couple of years and its full collar korean no collar dont feel right not enuff gap it all come down to one thing practice with what you have buying a stick thats worth 100+ is not allways the way its all about money and product placment the people that are using the gold lever to show it off are combo video makers and high execution player that have been playing tekken years its all lie's they could use any stick joystick and do the same stuff on anystick with time or a fast learner it all comes down to one thing its all personal preference thats it
Little Alex knew, it was a plot to waste his money, which intern will deprive him of basic living needs, forcing him into poverty and possibly disownership from his loved ones.
Alex, do you have a Twitter acc. Your content is dope AF my g. i want to follow your ass hahah no homo / i am not a creep. just wanting to give a support where i can give it. you deserve it. yesterday watched a vod on twitch about that new stick you got. What's the schedule ??
You can find me more in my discord if anything since I deleted my twitter (used 2x in 4 years lol). I post when I go live on twitch since I dont have a schedule anymore but usually stream fri/sat pending on irl plans. Thanks man
As someone who has bought both of these levers and is now waiting for IST to have the full collar V6..... Just stick to JLF and invest in some shares or someshit. Do yourself a favor.
@@alexnostalgix I was taken by surprise hearing it on your video. How did you even find it? It's a Hungarian song, must be quite obscure on international waters.
lol the board was given me action buttons occasionally when I hit down on the joystick so I had to evict it..........whether or not it was the PCB's fault IDK lol
@@alexnostalgix oh good iv been missing your content mate. Wonder if you still use a full collar lever as last I saw you were onto short collar. Either way I'm glad you will be doing more stuff 👍 love your channel and your twitch
