Wasim Raja, born July 3, 1952, was a highly talented all-rounder who represented Pakistan with distinction in between 1973 and 1985. #WaseemRaja #Cricket #PJMir
All I'd say is to thank you for putting up this video of Waseem Hassan Raja who's still one of the greatest cricketer Pakistan have ever produced without a shadow of any doubt whatsoever even though he is not with us anymore in this world. God bless his soul. . Thx pj..
Played with Waseem in a durham minor counties match, he was an absolute gentleman making me feel very welcome, such an exciting cricketer who could change the game very quickly. rip
My father used to speak very highly of him when he used to talk about Pakistan team's tour to India in late seventies. When others didn't do so well on that tour, his performance were outstanding.
What a great interview of my hero Waseem Raja. I really enjoyed every single moment in this candid talk. Waseem was different breed, a bold n stylish player who was thorough gentleman too. I always enjoyed his batting when he used hit hard the bowlers over the fences n make them cry. Thanks PJ Mir for a very memorable interview. May Almighty Allah bless Waseem Hassan Raja in the best peace of Jannah tul Firdous Aameen.
PJ I'm very thankful that you bought the vintage memories back with your flashback interviews. Cannot have enough & this Wasim Raja interview was cherry on top. Thanks

Nice memories. Thanks for sharing. Waseem Raja was jem of a cricket. Its hard to believe he is not among us but his memories will remain in our hearts forever.
Waseem was very educated person, I 1st saw him playing for Pakistan under 25 against English boys including Bob Willis at karachi Gymkhana most likely 1969
This is a rare interview, throughout my childhood I don’t remember if wasim raja ever gave an interview - he never showed up on any talk shows - he kept it to himself- complete opposite of his brother rameez raja
A stylish batsman and a very useful bowler. Exceptional fielder. Highly educated. He hammered West Indian pace attack on the 1977 tour of West Indies. RIP Raja❤ 🌹
Definitely was a talanted and one of my favourite player in my younger days Asif Iqbal was my other favourite. Waseem raja was very educated and very humble person indeed. Surely, we missed him.
Thanks for sharing! This is Great Memory of Late Wasim Hassan Raja! He looks nd talk same likes Ramiz Raja I think Ramiz must fellow his elder brother!
I remember him playing against my Minto park combined eleven being a captain of under 19 team. He scored 62 . Great stylish player and attractive person.
PJ ! you are just awesome for bringing up this interview ! just Heart warming to see WHR very very rare treat indeed of a classy cricketer and personality ! Have been fan of your before but with this fan of your forever ! Out Mutual friend Saad Zia asked me to subscribe yupr channel and have been enjoying it all along ! Thanks and keep it up !
P. J. Mir, is comparing Late Waseem Hassan Raja with Viv Richards, may be a bit of style to play on the front foot. However, Waseem was a mixture of two Great West Indians, Rohan Kanahi and Alvin Kallicharan. And Waseem has always ruled the West Indians in Caribbean and elsewhere.
The content you bring to us like history is truly remarkable but one thing I'd like to add that is, if you could just mention the year of interviewing with former legends that will be highly appreciated. Thank you PJ Sir, Love from Azad Kashmir
Dear P J Mir, Bless you. Thank you for doing this Vlog on My Raja, (May Allah Pak Bless him with forgiveness). Can you please, some how, make a Vlog on his performance in India, just before his retirement. That is memorable performance.
