We just booked our tickets to SG for a week in April on our way to moving to Bangkok! Gonna have to go back through the whole Piggypuggy archive for research and see how many hawker centres we can cram into a week. Been cooped up working from home in Adelaide for two years now and absolutely ready to eat my way around the island until I burst.

Thanks mate! We’ve been to most of the popular downtown centres before so I can’t wait to explore further into the obscure corners. 90% of the trip will be based around eating haha, Singapore really is our favourite food city.

Caixin Char Kuay Teow sign board indicated it is a first. I recalled Pasir Panjang Hawker Centre stall is the first stall to come out with it. Ingredients-wise the latter does not have Ikan Bilis and prawn. By indicating no pork lard does not mean it is healthier, as palm oil is equally sinful, esp this dish has to be oily to make the Caixin slippery. The toast does look nice & value-4-$.

Wah.. you remembered the pasir panjang CKT?! that's like 30 plus years back. There used to be a duck noodles and corner hokkien mee that I patron by the streets. They moved there somewhere in the 80s

my birthday on the 13th, new Puggy video feels like a present! 😍 Uncle cooking the CKT certainly has his own style!! I dunno about the Mee Sua... i might be too American for intestines. I'd probably try it...just to see. I guess if there's enough chili even if I didn't like it how would I know??? 😂 Stay healthy out there and keep up the great work!

Beef noodles below not bad too. Damn $6 for squid and pork for curry rice is actually very reasonable. You visited Yishun Park Hawker Center before? Got homemade curry, the ah tan har cheong gai chicken wings, jiao cai seafood and a few more

Can consider coming interim market on weekday before they shift back to the old location in april aka formerly known as golden shoe. Somemore not all stalls are moving back maybe due to higher rental cost & limited new space allocated.

The stall beside the coffee stall sells char kway teow, hokkien prawn noodles, malay noodles, carrot cake and hao jian. My favourite stall as the dishes are full of wok hei. And also 肥猪fishball noodles on level 1 ❤
