Part 1 of my "African Adventures!"
In this part, we have the honor of having Sandra Gray guide us through Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda. We spent days locating the gorillas and the rare and endangered golden monkeys. I hope this video will convey how incredible these primates truly are. Please tell me what you think in the comments below. Enjoy!
Special thank you to Sandra Gray! She was extremely kind and informative. Her devotion and dedication to her work with the animals in the National Park is admirable.
Sandra, along with Bella Horton, wrote a children's book "The Tale of Kachima." This story is told from the perspective of the golden monkeys as they experience life in the forest. The hopes are to inspire children to aspire to work within the fields of STEM and educate people about the importance of preserving the environment, including all the unique animals who live in it.

Proceeds from this book are used to fund conservational research in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, mainly focused on the golden monkeys.
