ive been watching so many videos from this channel, it’s become a real comfort in trying times and it’s hard not to take for granted the sheer value of this content! for free! as an italian i’ve especially found myself discovering so much about my own country through this channel, i think that’s truly wonderful. i assume the people behind the production are fans of Roman art and architecture, I’d absolutely love a video on the very well preserved Villa del Casale in Sicily. cheers, and thank you for being awesome!
After I saw the amazing video about Skellig Michael I was hoping there would be more Irish art and architecture videos!! Please consider covering Brú na Bóinne or Carrowmore ☘️
The Ipswich hoard is my personal favorite. The ends of torcs are deocrated in these sleek shapes that resemble the curves of a DBR1 Aston-Martin. I would love to know more about La Tène culture.
There's always that difference between expectation and reality. I'm glad the pre-Celtic Irish could put some respek on their name by showcasing their metalworking abilities, mysterious though they are... I imagine these being worn, perhaps in conjunction with a belt of some kind. I can't see them on the upper body for some reason... It's a shame we don't know, but I always love the room these mystery objects give for intrigue and imagination. 🙃
