Golden Romance 6x6 Mini Album Tutorial - Part 2 

I am very new to the wonderful world of ALL kinds of paper crafting. Your beautiful creation was one I AM GOING TO TRY. I couldn't think of anything better as a gift for my parents 50th wedding anniversary! After 2 months, today I finally made it through both videos. I'm at the decorating stage and putting it all together. I can't Thank You enough. You are a fabulous teacher with incredible master pieces. This project has opened up so many ideas I can't wait to bring to life. However, most importantly, it played a huge role as my therapy aid as I struggled with some serious issues in my life.

I love these page designs and you don't need much in the way of embellishments. I usually put 6 pages in my mini albums. Can't wait to see part three and to find out where you get the magnets from. Thanks so much.

Thanks for this - these are simple to follow instructions, and the end result is fun without having too many nooks and hiding spots for people who are new to using these types of albums for photos and journaling, like the person I’m going to give this to! 😁 Thanks! Oh... isn’t Kathy Orta’s hidden hinge a little different? She shows an extra score halfway down each hinge so that the pages lay flat when opened. What you show, I think, is a simple accordion fold hinge.

Very nice n easy n full of flips n pockets ..mu favorite yet..I love how u did the spine very easy n fits well. One thing I struggle with it hoe do you do the swivel embellishments that hold a page closed. A little new at scrapbooking

Thank you so much.. such a beautiful album and I understand hinges so much better now... love love love your albums.. You used wet glue on the covers instead of score tape dont you find that it bubbles even with all the smoothing you do... thanks again... I made trial pages for a friend of mine as she has trouble following instructions at all... you made it easy... she is going to make albums for 3 neices for weddings and a baby...

Great little album! I've finished the ones that I purchased through your shop - love the way they came out. But, I've come up against a brick wall. I need to know what magnets you use. I *cannot* find magnets that are thin enough AND strong enough. If they're strong enough, they add too much depth; if they're thin enough, they don't hold anything! Please! Where do you get yours?! Or, at least, what are they - brand, size, etc? I'm adding as much as 1 full inch to the spine with all the magnet depth! THANKS SO MUCH for your tutorials - they're so easy and fun - and look terrific!

Thank you so mutch for this tutorial. I love the golden romance. I will make this album a slide difference. You use a hidden hing. I the hidden hing plus (extra room) and i set page on the spin. Than i make a page again and build this up. than I glue the page i make on the page in the spin. do you untherstand? this way I match easier (for me). I love to see more of you. thanks for share

Great tutorial~ Best one I could find!! I could understand you and follow along easily. Can you tell me where to buy the magnets and what kind of liquid glue? I was using Allenes tacky but it didnt work well on the cover. Thanks so much!!! Love the completed album, Yours is gorgeous. What brand paper. I used a hobby lobby glam but only used the blah sheets since its the first one I have done like this.

What kind of magnets do you use? I just bought 8mm x 2mm but they are so strong that the tape isn't holding when i pull them apart(like the way you show in the tutorial).

Amazing work you do!! What kind/brand of glue do you use? Please forgive me if you stated it one or more times. I'm fighting the flu so it's extremely hard for me to hear even with the volume all the way up,. Also, where is everyone getting the large rolls of score tape that I'm seeing on RU-vid? I've checked my local craft stores to get prices but all they carry is the small rolls. I'm making a list of things I need to get in order do crafts, especially this one but right now I can't purchase due to my health caused from a wreck I was in over 6 years ago all because a young adult thought it was more important for him to be on his cell phone at a high rate of speed instead of paying attention to the road and his surrounding (that doesn't include his cell phone) but I will slowly but surely get what I need over time. As for now I can be creative using duck tape, regular paper, etc! Being creative!!

I'm loving this tutorial and am having no trouble following along until I got to the magnets. Can you tell me where you get yours? I bought some on eBay that I thought were the right size but they are too strong and won't let go of each other once they are attached. Thanks!

Please could you tell me what thickness magnet you are using? I find some are so thin they don't hold and if its too thick its heavy and will make a bump in the board and album. So if you could let me know what you use, it would make it easier. Thanks. Your album is gorgeous bu the way.
