@@ProducerBossB: I've gotten 6 placements in a show called 'Taste of History' on PBS and one on an Australian TV show (can't remember the name... 'Junk' something, about finding lost treasures in the Outback) through FlikTrax. None paid out much, but it's always cool to get a placement. They're good to work with, but admittedly, for the number of tracks of mine they've accepted and said were "perfect" for what they needed, the placements have been few and far between.

@@ProducerBossB: I've gotten a few placements with FlikTrax, and have signed 6 songs to Crucial Music. Also sold a batch of my 90's songs outright to D2Music and one was placed in an HBO series.

Every track will have a different structure, but you can get into the "meat" of a mood with a verse and/or build-up. "Meat" doesn't mean a BIG part of the track - it just means solid emotional vibe that's very clear right from the start.

You need to bring excellent quality tracks to Production Music Libraries. They will not accept "demos" or tracks that sound like a rough-mix.
