@@railfanben5935 Because of the NBA Lockout after the 2010-2011 season. 66 games were played thst season. That tight schedule got to a lot of players, especially since that was the year Derrick Rose went down with that ACL tear. My dreams were crushed that season, but that game against the Lakers was tons of fun.

Even though prices were crazy for tickets, I went as often as possible. I was at this game, 2015 finals game 3 and 2017 finals game 4 on my birthday. I'll never forget those games

they played one against spurs as well. lebron and cavs have legendary regular season games only mjs bulls can match them. during first stint also people came to see him and detroit were around, so were celtics. lbj team with no stars won 60 plus games like 3 to 4 times: 2006,2007,2008,2009 and 2010 eliminated by superior teams. the 2007 final run was superb and inexperience all around defeated him. 2 games they lost under a shot! if lbj had won then he would have already been the GOAT! the 2011 loss hurts otherwise he has done very well! NOBODY HAS TAKEN ON 4 DYNASTY LIKE TEAMS LIKE HIM: CELTICS, SPURS, WARRIORS AND FADING DETROITS!

Honestly, the combo of Irving and James was the only thing that was close to challenging the Durant version of the Warriors. Too bad Kyrie didn't stay and Cleveland add a piece or two to that team.

Them and the 2018 Rockets, the only way to beat them was to have an unstoppable iso player and surround him with a lot of 3 and D guys, that's why the Rockets nearly knocked them out in 7 games, they could defend them and outscore them by hitting threes.

zo no the rule was there, but when the ball is dead you’re allowed to hang for as long as you want. Since it was an And-1 the whistle was blown and he could’ve stayed

I remember watching this at my aunt's house, and we were all on the couch screaming like crazy when kyrie hit that shot. This is when playing and winning really meant something to the big name players. Just pure basketball at the highest level which is all fans really want to see. All these guys are so gifted and talented. I FIRMLY believe Cleveland would've won that Finals series had JR not been high during the game lolol. Lebron was so far beyond the best player on both teams it wasn't even close. BUT it is a team sport after all.

This was the perfect matchup for Christmas, both have INSANE HOF caliber players all through their lineup. Also the fact that this was after their first nah finals matchup as well as one of the first games KD was with the warriors going against the Cavilers. This gave us a sneak peak preview of the finals that were to come.
