Goldfield & Banks have become one of my favorite lines since they were introduced to me on this channel when Sebastian did a Zoom interview with the founder back during Covid lock down days. Personal favorite is Bohemian Lime.

I really enjoy that G&B showcases different botanicals from different places in Australia. I have been lucky enough to visit Australia, and love Bohemian Lime for that reason as it reminds me of summertime at Byron Bay.
I am getting addicted to your channel. I love the content, even your 2-3 years old videos...Great. Great comparison videos with all In-House & designers videos. I would like to see more behind-the-scenes videos like fairs, meeting with the perfumers, designers etc. stuff like that.

The launch timing of Purple Suede makes sense if you think about Australia being in the southern hemisphere. It was right at the beginning of winter for them while it was early summer for us. I really need to try this house. I haven't tried anything from them yet and your top 3-4 all sound amazing to me. I guess I need to get a discovery set.

Thanks for reviewing Goldfield and Banks! I first sampled Bohemian Lime and I was pleasantly surprised but I feel it leans a bit too masculine to my taste. Second one I tried is Sunset Hours. Sadly, I only used a few sprays of my 8ml decant because It’s too girly and nothing in it to balance the sweetness. I’m recently feeling to try more vanilla scents and so looking forward to try Silky Woods ❤️

I'm in Jessica's camp with the powdery fragrances. I mostly dislike them, aside from a very select few that usually have other characteristics to go with it, such as Amouage Reflection Man and Guerlain LIDGE.
Very interesting ingredients native to Australia. I’m also interested on the agar wood and lavender grown in Australia. I’ll try to look for a discovery set to see if I can find something I like.
I just got a bottle of Island Rush from Maxaroma for 35% off blind buy. Hope it’s good, not much information on it out there, guess it was a Harods exclusive.
Not sure what’s going on loved silky woods sample bought it from so advant guarde but bottle is not near as strong or long lasting. But sunset hour is my fav too. I might need to try purple suede but not sure if I like leather.
I just bought one was it refomulated again ? When i look up the packaging it said parfume concentrate mine said only parfume also the label is not attached to the bottle its seperatly in the box ????
I am sure Australia is beautiful but I am in love with Europe and because I don’t have tons of money to travel whenever I get the urge, I would rather go to Italy or France.
I’m not a fan of white sandalwood either . . That’s the only one I don’t like from goldfield and banks . . I can’t say what it smells like to me though lol

Dimitri explains it in the store presentation later in the video: the brass bottles feature a botanical(s) that is not native to Australia but is processed there.
Ok to the point? ARE THESE "Unisex" or is there any actual "MENS COLOGNES" with this brand? This issue never seems to be addressed on this channel or most popular fragrance reviewers channels. Ugh. I'm a MAN, I want a "Man's Cologne" not ANY "unisex" baloney or ANYTHING a woman would be willing to wear. I'm guessing all these are that unisex junk so I'm not sold.
these are all UNSEX. Unisex doesn't mean your dick will fall off if you are a man and wear it! So come on I dare you to wear them. You might actually like some!
