I know right! I was watching Ava and when this song came on I thought for a second there was somehow a depeche mode song I’d never heard before. Totally has the sound of the older, classic DM songs.

Goldfrapp did one of the most beautiful and original version of a DM´s song: Halo. Their version was so good that on previous tour Depeche played the Goldfrapp version rather than their own.

This is my favorite song of the year. Dave Gahan is one of my favorite artists and his voice is incredibly captivating and sultry here, like liquid gold. I get goosebumps when they sing together. Hauntingly beautiful song and video, on repeat!
